VTech DM1211-2 DM1211 Digital Audio Baby Monitor with Enhanced Range (2 Parent Units) Silver

Monitor works great in our 3000 square foot, two story home for hearing baby cries. I’m impressed it stays linked through walls and even outside. The sound quality is great and it’s very affordable. We had good experiences with vtech monitors in the past and were glad to find this extended range model that works in our new home.

In my opinion, VTECH is an excellent Brand. First experience with VTECH was years ago seeing a cordless phone used excessively and dropped repeatedly in a fast food setting. it never broke or failed to perform. So I personally bought a VTECH phone and had the same lasting success. Now fast forward to baby monitor and yep, VTECH is still an excellent Brand. Was gifted a VTECH Baby monitor couple years ago and now needed to expand so got this double parent unit and it is exactly as advertised. It's updated from the older model and quality is great. The sound and range distance is enhanced. The battery just keeps on and on and on it goes for hours on end without recharging. Its' very simple to use, easy to operate and all you do is plug and play. I love the way the clip is located on the top back half of parent unit fits in pocket can carry it clipped securely. It's sort of oval shaped and can also sit flat on surfaces. So yeah, in my opinion and experience, VTECH is an excellent Brand. Definitely recommend this double parent unit Baby monitor. Very good quality and price.

Best monitor I've ever used! We live next door to my Dad. This system gave us one receiver to use in the guest room at his house, where we take turns at night, plus another unit to use at our house in case he needs us during the day. Both are portable and work outside in the yard, with good volume and a clear signal.

Great range and battery life on these. We have a little outbuilding on our property where I work and I’m able to bring the parent unit here while the girl naps. That’s been a big upgrade for me work wise during the pandemic.Also, lithium ion batteries are obviously one of the best things to happen to humanity this century.Why four stars instead of five? The power button is next to the talk button on the power unit. If you talk to your child over the monitor to reassure them when your half asleep at night, it’s possible to turn it off by pressing the wrong button.If you’re ok with the button placement, I’ve no hesitation to recommend these. The performance is excellent from the five different monitors I’ve used at various stages for different kids.

These are awesome. They work from my house, all the way outside to about 50 yards away. I can watch my older kids swim while the baby is sleeping. It has an ANNOYING "vetch cares about your baby's safety..." blah blah booty butt LOUD announcement when you first turn on the parent unit. So keep that in mind and go to the next room or FARTHER before turning it on... WOOF. That'll ruin a mommas day let me tell you what.LOVE the no video extra hocus pocus. It does its job with no stupid bells and whistles.Mom of 5 approved! Going two years strong.

Bought because we look after our elderly neighbor. There's one vacant lot and a street between our homes. This product reaches to her back bedroom. We can hear her even if she's unable to push her help button. I need to get another baby unit for her living area. We have an older unit at work that doesn't reach nearly as far.

Great monitor with Great features. We use it to monitor are 90 year old mother. We are able to communicate with her through the monitor.
