There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Books!

These books are easy to read to a child. I think some are written better, but the whole series is cute and loved by my four year old.

Love this book

Run a daycare and my children love these books. This one isn't as "catchy" as some of the others but still fun for all ages. The little ones love listening and looking at the pictures and the older ones love to read these books. Beginner readers especially enjoy these books because of the repeating sentences....they actually stay with it till the very last page!

This was an unfortunately purchase. I was under the impression it would be a nicely revised version of an old classic. How disappointed I was. The content is pretty bad but doesn't bother me as much as the number of syllables in each line which simply do not fit the tune. There's no flow. What makes it even worse is that my kids keep picking this book for story time and I have to struggle through each and every time dropping words here and there to make it fit the tune ... My jaw is tight and sore just thinking about this frustrating book. Do yourself a favour and move on to another read. There are plenty of good kids books out there - this is just not one of them.
