We have been trying to get away from plastic utensils for some time. This teak wood set fits our needs exactly, and the quality is very good. Its smooth surfaces make cleaning easy.

I really like my beautiful wooden wok spatula and ladle tools. They have not scratch my wok and the handles are long enough to keep my hands away from the heat and potential splattering (they are not awkwardly long and they fit well into my drawer). I have used them for some time and they have not stained, split or frayed at the cook edges.

I read the reviews on these tools, and liked how everyone loved the usefullness and beauty of the craftmanship. The spoon is a thing of beauty. The spatula is much lighter than the spoon in weight. The spatula does not have the same finish that the spoon does. That aside they have become my go to tools when Iam using my dutch ovens, or my wok. Well designed for flipping meat that you are browning, or stiring vegitables that you are softening. Love them.

I purchased these tools to use in my new hand hammered wok immediately after discovering that the metal ones I had previously bought were causing scratches. These came to me very quickly and I am happy to have made the switch. The wood is very solid and extremely durable. The ONLY complaint that I have about them...and I hate to use the word complaint...it's more of an annoyance is that the spatula curves UP on the outside edges. I think that they should be flat on the outside edges if not even slightly curved to mesh with the curvature of the wok bottom. The raised-up edges make it a little less efficient when stir frying veggies or rice. Update the design slightly to fit the curvature of a wok better and you have a perfect combination of form and functionality. The aesthetic appeal will improve as well as they sit in the bottom of the wok looking like they were a match made in heaven.

Quality wood, very nice finish that makes cleaning easy, and these will not damage non-stick surfaces. How long will they hold up. All depends on frequency of use and proper care.

The ladle and wok spatula look great and work great. I wanted the ladle for use in some Analon non-stick pots, and it does the job well with no risk to the non-stick surface. The wok spatula works great in my carbon steel wok and is easy to clean after use.

The spatula seems very strong, and to my happy surprise, comes to a very thin edge at front. (It may not last too long because of this, but I'm OK with that.) The angle is right and the handle is comfortable. The spoon, however, is nearly useless IMO. I wanted a cooking spoon, to stir & move stuff around in a wok or pot, and also scoop stuff out into a bowl or plate. This won't do any of that. It's basically a deep, heavy soup ladle. Luckilt, the spatula is almost worth the price you pay for both of these, but stil .....

Not just handcrafted - a work of art! I know some cooks and can just imagine how much they will appreciate their next Christmas gifts. Only cooks my understand this one - I felt better when I used my ladle and spatula. I like using good quality kitchen utensils.

These things are covered with varnish???! I have sanded it down exposing the real colour of the wood below. False advertising,who wants varnish leaching into their food??

The Wok Tools met and exceeded our expectations. They are solid and attractive pieces of kitchen equipment! Very satisfied overall !
