Works great!

Our dearly departed kitty had some difficulties in the latter time of her life. Always in the same spot at the corner of one rug. We tried various things, but the stain remained. We have other, much more pleasant memories of her, we did not want to keep this one. It also caused one of the dogs to um imitate her. We ended up taking the rug out and draping it over the deck fence and soaking it with this stuff. Hosing and re-treating, 4 times total. While it looked clean after the first attempt, I'm sure most of you know pee scent can be much harder to get out. Two weeks now and no "reapplication" from the dogs, so I'm hopeful dear kitty's memory won't be sullied.

Very good carpet cleaner, easy to use and cleans most stains really well. Scent is not overwhelming

I had a couple of nasty spots that defied everything I tried. Carpet cleaner in a can, purple cleaner, etc. I'm a bit of a chemist and looking at MSDS's, most carpet cleaning products use two chemicals as their base: hydrogen peroxide and ethoxlated alchol. For the latter, think Simple Green and many other household cleaners. I even made my own using sodium percarbonate (Oxyclean core chemical) which becomes hydrogen peroxide when dissolved, and ethoxylated alcohol via the dollar store's cheap LA Totally Awesome, and a bit of ammonia cleanser. Better, but not great. I sprayed the Resolve on, let it sit for "awhile," then hit it with my above cleaner in my so-called steam cleaner. Wow! Success! I bought this not only because it had great ratings, but also because the active ingredient I've not seen anywhere else. From the MSDS: "Sulfuric acid, mono-C10-C16 alkyl esters, sodium salts." OK, whatever! This is why I said it was different. A final observation about home "steam cleaners." There is no steam, that's the domain of professional, heavy duty, pressurized units. Your home unit is hot water. That's it. No more heat added. For best results heat your cleaning fluid and rinse water in the microwave until, um, very hot. More than hot water out of your faucet. Your carpet will thank you.
