Big improvement over older, cheaper designs. Pumps quite a lot, fits snugly on my bottle, and has a built in hose holder so you dont spill any out when you're done.

OK If you have pulled the CVT drain plug instead of the engine oil plug, you will need CTVF-II fluid and this transfer pump. The photo shown in the Amazon listing for the Subaru CTVF-II fluid is WRONG and this will complicate your pump fit guesswork. Again -- the listing bottles shown look more like a power-steering fluid bottles.I just purchased this Fluid as of July 2024 and the bottle necks photos depicted here are known as "WIDE MOUTH QUART": They just like the ones used on Mobil-One Motor oil. Amazon offers a number of "BLACK" pumps that look Just like this one: My pump fit was perfect without any leaks during entire transfer and YES the pump is slow. Our Forester was on the hoist for three days just trying to get the Subaru CTVF-II fluid and obtain right size pump.Note: After the initial error I put the CTV drain plug back into the trans-pan ASAP -- because the CTV Fluid will continue to drain fluid long after that first gush. Your thumb over the drain will prevent the loss of another four or more quarts when you go to install the new crush washer on the CTV plug.We had 1 and 3/4 quarts left over from the original Subaru six pack. This protracted Re-fill procedure took about TWO and 1/2 hours. I used this to take fluids out of my radiator, and the suction is great, the product is seems to last long too.I used these on a rebuild for my 1973 Camaro, the product for the price is good, it was ok to install, not super easy not really hard, directions were good, not great, the product seems to be lasting as I drive the car.I have many classic cars, usually I used summit or Jegs, or ricks Camaro to buy items, I want to try products off amazon this time for the rebuilt of this car. The products I have gotten seem of good quality, are cheaper in price, and easy to return if they do not work or if they do.

These fit Adams 1gal chemical bottles perfect. The pump leaks a good bit though after done pumping. Kinda annoying I’m sure I’m wasting a lot of mega foam which is expensive.

Item not as described at all. I specifically purchased this one because it said it was for QUART Bottles/jugs! It was not. It is for GALLON jugs. ITEM NOT AS DESCRIBED! I already threw the packaging away before I realised it so now Im stuck with something I did not need or order! Be careful with this one here! In main description it says for quarts! But if you look at item specifics it says gallon bottles, but you have to really read it to see that. MAIN TITLE DESCRIPTION SAYS QUARTS. VERY MISLEADING!

Pump works great with only one problem.It did not fit any of the one gallon oil or transmission fluid bottles like quaker state, Pennzoil or Valvoline.I had to improvise. But it pumped the fluid up to the fill openings perfectly. Manufactured needs to correct the product label.
