Alka-Seltzer Original Effervescent Tablets with Aspirin, 12-Count (Pack of 3)

My family has depended on this old stand-by for generations. There is nothing better than Alka Seltzer for heartburn or any other stomach issues. As always…..the problem is solved with the first belch.

This is advertised as original formula Alka-Seltzer featuring the two antacids and aspirin in "Original Flavor". That product was discontinued September 2023. Bayer decided to separate their aspirin tablets and their antacid tablets into two separate products. I ordered these hoping it was backstock of the discontinued product and received aspirin-only tablets. The aspirin only tablets taste nasty without the antacid, and the antacid only tablets only come in nasty fruit flavors do you can't even combine them to make the original product. So. Annoyed.

Arrived on time and in good condition!

I believed it was 36 in each box (full-size box) and found there to be only 12 per box, making a total of 36 servings...for $18. Check this out so you don't make the same mistake. A box with 36 rarely costs over $7.

Took today for pain and worked better than regular nsaid.

Read the description carefully. At the time I ordered the picture was of traditional alka seltzer for heartburn and pain. I received original FLAVOR for pain only. Apparently alka seltzer changed and I didn’t realize. As a medication it is non returnable. It’s okay, just not what I was trying for. Be careful you are getting what you want.

The packaging was excellent and the products were exactly as described.

The product description says original alka seltzer which includes asprin and heartburn/indigestion medication. This is just asprin with original flavor.
