The Magic Treehouse is a great book series for young readers (6-10 year olds). The series is adventure based, exploring history and world travel. Jack and Annie (main characters), experience three to five challenges during each book and kids (and parents) love reading how they get through each scenario brought on by the location. These books provoke though, imagination, and creativity. With over 100 books in the series there's lots of adventures to choose from.

I homeschool my 5th grader and chose this series for his reading. Each book is 10 chapters and he can easily get through a book in 1 week. He enjoys these books so it’s never a battle to get him to read. The writer made these books engaging allowing children to use their imagination while they read. I think it’s easy to moderate reading for grades 3-5. Definitely recommend this series and wish I would have found it sooner!

This amazing book chain is perfect for kids between 1 and 2 grade. Both my kids get into the reading habit thanks to these books, and they alsoo learn about history , geography, and events.

Ich habe diese Buecher fuer meine 9-jaehrige Tochter gekauft da sie diese bereits auf Deutsch gelesen hat und wir somit ihr Englisch verbessern wollen. Sie hat das erste Buch in einem Zug durchgelesen und war begeistert. Der Text ist kindgerecht und die Geschichten sind sowieso sehr schoen. Fuer Kinder die gut in Englisch sind und sich an englisch-sprachige Literatur heranwagen wollen ist es genau das richtige. My daughter (9yrs) loves these books and has read plenty of them in German. In order to improve her English, we agreed to buy this set for her. She read through the first book in one "setting" and really enjoyed it. It is written in adequate terminology and will enhance the vocabulary and grammar of any child. The stories themselves are very well written and enjoyable anyway.
