These are metal stickers
these are NOT magnets. They are to be used on a magnetic surface. They work great! The sticker backings also aren't too difficult to remove, I used the included tool to help get a corner lifted ans then after that the sticker kinda pops off! The adhesive does seem really weak though. I'm using it for cheap shadows and didn't bother with superglue but I definitely recommend purchasing some! There is a brush on nail glue on amazon for like $3 and works great, much less mess. I also appreciate how thin these are, they don't stand out among the already magnetized pans.

These work perfectly.
These were great. The ones I've used all stuck onto the pans easily/sturdily and they are nice and thin so none of my pans are sticking up weirdly. And I have to say to the people giving these one star saying they are not magnetic.... you really shouldn't get on here faulting a product when you don't understand what you are buying. These ARE NOT MAGNETS. Most makeup pans are made of metals that will stick to magnets/magnetic palettes. Some are not. That's what you need these for. To make those pans able to stick to a magnetic palette. These won't help anything stick to a metal palette or anything else. Please understand what you need to buy before trashing a product.

Perfect for depotting makeup
So here I was, minding my own business, when my Wet n Wild Comfort Zone palette's plastic top cracked. I do not like depotting makeup. I don't like depotted palettes. I don't like how it looks. I don't like it. But I wasn't about to throw away a ton of makeup because a container broke, so I did what I had to do, and depotted the pans of eyeshadow from the palette. The pans weren't very magnetic, if they were magnetic at all, and that's where these stickers came in. These are cheap magnetic stickers that did the job. A word to the wise -- look at all the sticker sizes before applying them to the pans. I didn't see that there were tiny stickers that wouldn't show from under the pan until I had applied large circular stickers to every pan. Separate the unused stickers from the used stickers because otherwise, you could have what I had happen, happen to you. The stickers I peeled off stuck to the unused stickers and made them gross, or peeled the papers off, and I had to toss those ones out. That was my fault though. My criticisms: If you mess up placing a sticker, you basically need to use a whole new sticker, because it won't really stick well a second time I wish there was an even tinier sticker for some very narrow pans, so the magnet sticker wouldn't stick out from under the pan, and so the pans could be smooshed together more easily I used the stickers in conjunction with this palette: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004SMPK6A/

Works perfect, came with more than expected.
The magnetic pads are the perfect strength for the z palette that I intended to use them in, and the adhesive on the back is super easily applied to whatever you are applying them to. It is just important to make sure that if you are applying them to an eyeshadow pan, that you make sure the back of the pan is completely clean before putting a magnet on. if there's any eyeshadow on the back of the pan the adhesive will not stick, however, if there is a perfectly clean back of the pan the adhesive will stick super strong. I also was not even expecting to receive the scalpel with this magnetic sticker package, but I have found very many uses for it already. It's a super helpful and definitely needed bonus that comes in this package!

Perfect for magnetic pan use!
I got the 100 piece set. It’s perfect! The magnets stick on well and are suitable for most pan sizes. They aren’t super strongly magnetic, but they will gently snap on to my magnetic colourpop palette when they’re about 0.5cm away and they won’t move on their own even if you put the palette upsidedown. Passes the test for me! The spatula they came with was also very helpful for breaking up the blushes I had taken out of another palette when decluttering. I wanted to repress them and the best thing to do before that is to smash them up as finely as possible. I used the pointed end of the spatula for that and then the rounded end to mix and smooth down the eyeshadow cream (powder + rubbing alcohol). Worked great!

Shocker - they're actually metal stickers like the listing says!
These are, in fact, metal stickers. They magnetize very well to the bottom of my Adept Cosmetics magnetic palette. I actually received 61 pieces instead of 56, which is a nice little bonus. All of the pieces are uniform in size, totally flat, and super thin. Nothing is bubbling up or laying crooked and the thinness means my pans aren't going to bulk up in the bottom of the palette. I'm not 150% confident that the adhesive is going to hold onto all of my shadow pans so I will probably bust out some super glue. I'll update after I finish cleaning the crap off the bottom of my depotted JSCxMorphe shadows and tested out the adhesive. The magnets on their own slide around pretty smoothly if I adjust placement in the empty palette. I'll test that more once the shadow pans are installed too. Otherwise I'm extremely impressed with the value for money. The depotting tool is a nice bonus but I've already got a set of tools for that purpose so I'm not bothered by it either way. This shop just put up a listing for double the quantity of pieces for the same price, so if you have hella pans to magnetize, probably order that one instead.

Great job
This has done the job well and has proven to be a useful pick tool outside of depotting eyeshadows! I would recommend this to anyone looking to remove pigments from cardboard palettes. Also, the magnets work really well!

Not a big fan
Worked for some of my lighter weight makeup pans. Most didn’t stick after about a week though. Actually broke a few of my pans. Also for the larger pans I found that I needed to put a few on just to get it to stay put. Wish I realized so I could have return them before I used most of them.
