Great Budget Range Finder
the unit works great. I just got it, so I can't speak for longevity. It is easy to use. You have to have a steady hand. The range numbers and aiming tool are dark so this may be tough to use in the evening, but for the price you can't beat it. -update:. Took this to the course today and it worked great. Fast readings, easy to hit the flag and other targets.

I play 18 holes of golf three times a week, so maybe that's just to much golf for this item. I had to return the H2 Laser twice within a six month period. Issue with the first one was that the yardage numbers stopped appearing after working GREAT for five months. Issue with the second one was that after less than two months of use the yardage numbers would not lock in on a target therefore I could not trust the distance displayed. So in my opinion this item is not good for the avid golfer... FORE!!

Poor Instructions
There were no instructions for entering the battery compartment and it was not obvious. It was very difficult to get the battery in the spot for it. There was no diagram of the battery compartment. When trying to pen it you never knew whether you would break it.

Works well so far, my buddy has a rangefinder his cost a lots more then this one and does the same thing. I'm pleased with this unit.

Worked great until I got away from the game for a ...
Worked great until I got away from the game for a year or two and the rangefinder stayed in my raging hot garage for 2 summers. Now the display no longer works..can barely make out a few digital figures, that's it. Do not store in hot area. I stuck it in the freezer for a night or two...didn't help.
