seems to be a good quality heavy hitch. The supplied bolts are grade 5, some folks may want to install grade 8 instead if that worries you. It has taken my usage without issues using the supplied ones. be warned that it is heavy, and installing a quality solid tube mount makes it even heavier to carry around.

Bolts, nuts, and washers supplied with hitch appear to be good quality, black oxide with a Grade 8 six-hatch bolt head marking. Seller’s description says it fits a 2.5” lunette ring, want to add that when closed and locked the opening is large enough to easily accept my 3” ID lunette with 6” overall OD (1.5” thick lunette). Space for lunette when closed is 2.25” H and 2.0” front-to-back from forward ball surface to contact. Pleased with purchase, would recommend.

I just bought a big trailer that has a pintle hitch on it so obviously I need a pintle hitch. I looked around and the prices are between $50 to over $300 so this was a good option for me. It bolted up fine and I used it for the first time two days ago and everything was good. When I went to take the trailer off I noticed that the ball was ever so slightly cocked back by the ring of the trailer. Once I got the trailer off I grabbed the ball and moved it back and forth. It was loose. Not by much, but I would say 1/16 of a gap. Should I have checked it out before attaching a trailer to it? Yes. Should the nut be tight before its sent out to a customer? Yes. It's not a deal breaker for me because I still think that it's a good value for the money and it's not like I'm going to send it back just to have them tighten it and send it back. I have large sockets and wrenches so this is a 1 minute fix. Would I buy from them again? Yes. Will I check that everything is tight before using it? Yes. We both get four stars.
