Yes, these silicone stretch lids fit any round, square or oblong glass, metal, or plastic bowl. Just note that if you wanna cover the bowl, make sure the lid and dish are dry. Moisture on the bowl will cause the lid to slip. Otherwise, these are great so I'm glad I bought several sets.

Q: Can these be used directly on fruits and vegetables like lemons and half-cut watermelon?

Yes, you can use them directly on fruits and vegetables, these are reusable and easily fit most bowls, pots, containers, cups, mugs, jars, cans, and you can even use them to cover your halved watermelons.

Q: Heat them in the microwave. How do you suggest doing this since they have no ventilation holes?

You just have to keep the lid a little open and having the lid help not to splatter the food in your microwave.
