Long life power much less expensive than original Sony equivalent
Outstanding power source for video production. Solid build and light weight. Performs the job of providing power longer and with easy battery changes. We use the Power Junkie with these batteries to power mirrorless cameras known for short battery life (Sony a7Sii, A7, and A6300). There are adapters for virtually any model of DSLR and mirrorless camera. This is great for any video setup from run and gun to studio on sticks. The accompanying photo is from a commercial video production. You can see the battery and Power Junkie at the lower right of the camera for easy battery change. I get over two hours from a battery on the power hungry A7sii. It is light enough to to power our a6300 on a Crane 2 Gimbal stabilizer.

Very pleased. This is a battery
In my initial testing using these with a 160 LED light panel, they lasted over an hour after a fresh charge. Very pleased. This is a battery, not rocket science, although many manufacturers will warn you about purchasing after market batteries. But I am using this on a simple light. Not a sophisticated high end digital camera.

So far, the performance is acceptable
I don’t know why buying any kind of battery it’s like the wild west. It doesn’t matter if it’s for your phone or for a laptop or for a backup unit, for rechargeable AAs, or for a Camera, it’s such a crapshoot buying batteries that it just astonishes me what a garbage heap this entire market has become. This makes it particularly important to know if some of these generic type brands are even slightly reliable. So I have found so far through some considerable testing that these DTSE batteries are okay. Please come in three sizes which basically are containers for 18650 cells (and one day I’m gonna open one and see what the individual cells look like.) which hold two, four and six cells for the Sony type camcorder batteries. No expectations first of all there is no way these are going to come close to the original branded battery but it 1/4 the cost you may be willing to except a lower capacity and most likely shorter lifespan. I have one of the video panel lights that except two of these batteries. They’re generally about a foot on each side and generate about 650 lumens. I ran several tests with various battery packs and I get a consistent number of 12 minutes per 18650 cell at 50% power. So if you run two of these F550s, that’s going to be 4 cells which will power your panel light for 48 minutes at 50% power or 24 minutes at full power. This seems to be about 25% less of a Sony battery. I can live with this. I have no idea how many cycles these battery packs are going to make it through. But the charger that came with seems decent enough and works well and I enjoy the flexibility of being able to use USB-C or micro USB to power it. It’s small and compact so it fits in with my gear and it’s really nice not to have to find outlet for my video lights.

No good after 2 uses
Maybe 6 months in, only used twice, one of the batteries failed and won't charge.

work perfect
They work perfectly, hold a charge, and are great for backup batteries.

Performance varies depending on charger
While these batteries actually have a higher (mah) capacity than the equivalent OEM Sony batteries, they are not "InfoLithium" batteries and may not charge properly on all chargers. They do charge on my Sony ACVQ1051D dual battery charger, but not on my third party iKan or Atomos chargers.

Original Post 2021: I have been using this set for 7 months. I use them everyday, that's about 100 recharge cycles so far as I cycle them each time. After those 7 months one of the units is not holding complete charge anymore. The other seems to be still holding up (so far) Even as brand new, they didn't last as long as other brands (Like Neewer). The difference is noticeable. It's all in the price you pay. If you plan to use this on a professional setting, I'd not recommend. Update on Nov 2024 The Seller sent another set to replace the one that died some time ago, however this new one also bit the dust and it's not charging anymore. It's definitely a quality problem. The alternative ones from Neewer that I bought back in 2022 are still on top performance and being used daily. I don't expect any of them to last forever (even the originals), but the short life expectancy and failure rate of DSTE says everything.

I'll assume warmth means thermal value, which I rated low as they don't generate heat in an abnormal sense. Otherwise, they are the exact match I needed for my kit!
