Could you use this in resin after printing or would you need to seal it first to stop the ink running?

I bought it for resin and I just put the printed film straight in there. I’ve not had any issues of the ink smudging or running. Just make sure to give the ink a few minutes to 100% dry after printing. :)

I thought inkjet needed the paper to have a white strip on the edge so that the printer can line up the paper correctly but these don't have it

Why do need a white stripe ?? On modern printers the sheet lines up within the side guides that keeps it central ready for printing also when using an overhead projector there are parallel locators to align with the frame. BTW these sheets have been faultless during many Powerpoint displays and have been central and parallel , only failing through wear and tear.

Can this be used to transfer printed words onto wood and crafts

Not that I'm aware of as it's a cellulite type stiff film. However there is s a technique that I used to use while doing custom paintwork. Print the image onto normal gloss photo paper, then stray with clear lacquer and allow to dry. Once fully dry soak in soapy water and gently rub off the paper to leave the image on the laquer, you can then use this on the object that you want the image on.
