Large capacity for freezing broth cubes
These silicone freezer molds did the job they were intended to, but you will want to use a cookie sheet or something under them to provide stability while your liquid freezes, otherwise you may end up spilling a lot.I wish the containers were a little more sturdy, and that the lids snapped on or locked in place somehow, rather than just sitting on top the way they do.The broth cubes hold about a half cup of liquid each cube, and did come out fairly easy, but boy did my hands feel like they were getting freezer burnt while I removed all the cubes.Overall, I think that more space can be saved by freezing the amount of broth or liquids you want per batch in ziplocks and laying them flat to freeze. These cubes took up more space than my veggies scrap bags I saved in my freezer to make the broth.

Great for gallon jugs!
My dad recently bought me a gallon Yeti jug so that I could drink plenty of water during the day and while I'm working (I work outside in the heat). Small ice cubes tended to melt a lot faster in that behemoth of a water jug so I was looking for an extra-large ice tray so I could fully fill the jug with ice. And I found this one!The silicone on these feels great in quality and the lid stays on fine if you keep the trays flat and level. Each cube has a fill line which helps you not to overfill the tray. They freeze pretty slow in my deep freezer, but I imagine in a regular refrigerator freezer they would freeze at a good pace! The cubes freeze into perfectly square pieces that are very easy to slide out! Just push the bottom of the tray and they slide out like butter. Just be careful carrying the trays after you fill them with water, they can be somewhat flimsy and awkward to carry since its large and made of silicone.Pros:+ Great size if you have a large water bottle or a Gallon jug!+ Easy to clean+ Easy to pop the ice out+ Freezes well+ Good qualityCons:- Can be awkward to carry with water in it (if you don't have to walk it a long distance and you're careful with it, then this shouldn't be an issue)

One of those things you didn't know you needed, until you did
I drink non-carbonated soft drinks every day. I've been using crushed ice dispensed from the door of my freezer to keep them cool. Yes, it melted and diluted the drinks, but that's just life. I should have been thankful that I had ice at all.Ingrate! Then my son and I had a discussion wherein he pointed out that larger pieces of ice would keep my drinks just as cool with less dilution. Something to do with the ratio of volume to surface area. Great idea! But where could I obtain these larger chunks of ice? Enter this duo of trays. The square one makes 2-inch cubes while the spherical one makes 2.5-inch spheres. They are both made of silicone and have marks to indicate the water fill line. The spherical one has to be snapped together so that it doesn't leak, but that's no problem. Just fill them and place them in the freezer compartment. When they're solidly frozen simply remove the from the freezer and peel the ice out. It's a little bit difficult, but nothing you can't handle. It's kind of like removing the peel from an orange without tearing it.The only problem I've had is a practical one. I use a 24-ounce reduce brand stainless steel tumbler and the spherical ice is just a little bit smaller than the diameter of the tumbler. As a practical matter, this means that it's pretty much impossible to use a straw without kinking it. The spheres work just fine in a 34-ounce tumbler. And the cubes work well in either size tumbler.I'm not going to claim that these trays changed my life, but they sure made it a bit more comfortable.

Not food grade silicone
The listing said it can be used for soups, but after doing the pinch test it showed white so it is not food grade silicone. Probably fine for ice as intended, or chilled foods or liquids.
