Goodnight Princess: A Bedtime Baby Sleep Book for Fans of the Royal Family and All Things Pink and Fancy! (Goodnight Series) Review: A Dreamy Bedtime Treat for Little Royal Fans - Size: The book is a perfect size for little hands—sturdy, easy to hold, and not too long for bedtime. Just the right length to wind down without dragging on. Functionality: Designed as a bedtime story, it does exactly what it promises—soothes and settles little ones as part of a nighttime routine. The rhythm and flow of the words make it great for reading aloud, and it quickly became a favorite in our home. Pain Relief: While it’s not a medical book, it does help ease nighttime anxiety or bedtime battles. My child feels comforted and calm by the end of the story, which is a huge help during tough evenings. Relaxation: The tone is gentle, magical, and sweet—perfect for winding down. The story transitions beautifully from royal adventures to sleepytime, encouraging a smooth mental shift from play to rest. Strength: Emotionally strong and affirming. It celebrates imagination, femininity, and gentleness, making any little one feel special and seen—especially those who love pink, castles, and fairy-tale themes. Color: Absolutely gorgeous! Each page is filled with dreamy pinks, pastels, sparkles, and soft illustrations that captivate the eye without overstimulating. It’s visually soothing and engaging at the same time. Final thoughts: Goodnight Princess is a charming and effective bedtime book—especially for toddlers and preschoolers who love everything royal and fancy. It’s well-written, beautifully illustrated, and creates a lovely end-of-day ritual. A must-have for any little princess’s bookshelf! Review: Bought all 3 titles. Nice for young ones. - Interesting series. Hard sketching for my little girl themed step stool but do-able for 3-yr olds.

A bedtime story for would-be princesses
This book was another hit with my princess-obsessed twins (aged 3). We picked up another book in this series, Goodnight Pirate but one sharp-eyed girl spotted Goodnight Princess on the back cover and demanded we order it. Like Goodnight Pirate this is a riff on Goodnight Moon, a young girl gradually says goodnight to her toys, dresses and princess fantasies and finally goes to bed. It's a quick and fun read, not much there for parents, but girls who are of the 'princess' age will like it.

Favorite book
This is my 3-year-old daughter's favorite book. She chooses to listen to it every night and keeps trying to put it in her bed. I won't let her sleep with it. It is adorable and has good cadence. I just wish we knew where the cat went. The kitty is on page 4-8 or so, not at the beginning nor end. :/
