Is it sold out already?

Some appeared today here and at gamestop. They did not last 15 minutes. This is a boomer. Meanwhile, a lot of people selling it from 150+

I'm a little bit unclear with multiplayer... If I want to play this with my son we would need to have an additional Switch system or...?

It's kind of like old Gameboy games from the 90's-every player needs their own system, and their own copy of the game in order to play. The kit only comes with one car (you choose a Mario set or a Luigi set). If you already have multiple switch systems in your household, it's not SO costly to do this, but at $100/player for the cart/game they'll need, that's still a pretty hefty price tag for multiplayer.

Why this product is ovepriced??? the regular price is u$99.00 (target, best buy and gamestop)

Because Amazon and ebay has scalpers. Target, best buy, gamestop etc. Get restocked multiple times a week and they sell it at normal price. Get it there (like I did) and avoid the toxic sellers on here.

If the cart breaks or you don't want to use it can it be played just on the tv?

I don't believe you can. This game is all about the "RC car" first person experience. And it's pretty fun, but it is a "2D map" game as it doesn't understand going up or over or under or down. The awesome racing experience of Mario Kart racing in full 3D is exclusive to the switch only games. BTW, check on the discounted games in the nintendo online store. I hear Nintendo is discounting their games there from time to time including Mario Kart!
