My travel trailer has a metal underbelly that has 3 foot section rusted out from water leakage, can this product be glued to the good metal?

This product is a thin plastic wrap intended to cover a "good" base material. It works excellent, and provides a waterproof protective layer over the "good" base, but it should not be used to cover over a poor material (my opinion, I'm a consumer not a company representative). Additionally, this will provide zero structural support if glued over that 3-foot rusted out section, and if it is only glued around the outside, it will not stay attached as you drive the trailer around. Does the rv flex mend repair kit include both sizes 4"x44' and 48"x 14'?

Yes, The 48" (4') x 14' is non adhesive The 4" x 45' is the adhesive tape used to install the nonadhesive

Is the 48"x14' Flex Mend self-adhesive?

No. It did come with some really strong tape but it was separate I bought some spray adhesive that was recommended on YouTube

Does this product require a certain temperature for installation to ensure it will work properly?

Temperature seems irrelevant. Although the tape is very sticky, it simply will not hold against normal 50-60 MPH highway speeds. The fabric is good, but I very strongly recommend you not waste time or energy with the included tape or gorilla tape or duct tape of any brand or strength. Apply the fabric with a liberal amount of 3M High Strength 90 contact adhesive, found at all big box home improvement stores. Wash the area to be repaired, use the adhesive across the entire area and the entire patch (not just at the edges). Follow directions and you'll have a permanent fix. If you do this within normal temperature ranges (40-90 degrees F) you should have excellent success. Hope you do well!
