If I only used half of the bottle, how can I save it for the next batch, or will it die?

I keep mine in the fridge for 2 weeks. I make a full batch and only use 9 bottles. But I make one batch after the other and use the 2 week old starter tea. Seems to work for me.

Can I use this with soda stream?

I don't know the answer to that question, but my bottle blew its cap off during shipping and there are no returns on this item, and I could even find a way to contact the seller for a replacement.

Can i grow ascoby with this starter tea?

This is a great starter and you can grow a SCOBY with it.

Do you use ice packs to ship your starter in the Summer to avoid excessive fermentation that leads to higher acidity and pressure build up?

The one I received didn't have an ice pack, first one didn't work, but the company sent me a replacement and everything was great Great customer service!
