Whistles no more...
This worked surprisingly well to eliminate the whistle. One thing to note is the hose is a bit shorter than 12". It could be stretched but expanding the compressed corrugation ridges would turn it back into a regular flex hose and it would likely whistle like a regular flex hose. If you really need 12", get the 18" version. I was actually happy with it being slightly shorter, as 12" was really a couple inches too long.

Flexible and perfect for generator use
It was a pleasure to use this pipe to connect a home generator to the propane pipe. Perfect size with easy and smooth connectors. Made an easy job.
