These are great poles. Very sturdy and much better than the twist-lock poles, that constantly slip, especially with a little wear.I bought a few, and then a 4th, because I use them while camping, to hold a 16 x 16 canopy over my tent and truck.The screw top screws right into an large "D" Ring on each corner of the sunscreen tarp, and then I tie the pole ropes into direct opposition of each other.Excellent sunscreen, and 8 feet high so you can walk under it...rain no longer sounds like a drum section on my camper van...and if I need to, I can drive off from under it.Perfect, and not possible without these poles being able to stand up under the rope tension. They're pretty much bulletproof.

This pole is extremely heavy duty and appears to be very well made. The extension mechanism operates very easily.

An excellent extension, but what can I screw into the top? I needed more adjustment possibilities. Thanks though.

so strong I even use it to hold up truck hood. I use it to move around items in back of truck without crawling in, washed house windows with it. heavy duty.

I did a search on tent poles so this really didn't fit my bill.

Bought this in March to wash 5th wheel camper. I have used it several times and am very impressed. The square locking extension tube is so much better than the round twist lock one I previously used. It is a little heavier but not an issue by any means.

Added the Gardening Hook by Big-Reach to this pole. This pole is very easy to use, simple to adjust the height. Bought the taller one for pruning & this one for other jobs. I had an old short wooden handled hook that I broke & bought this to replace it. Probably endless uses for this. After we used the tall one for pruning. I told my husband I bought this length also. He said it would be great to keep in his truck.

I ordered this for my husband and the 1st thing we noticed is that there is two cracks and a third one coming up, i don't know how that happend but I want to return it but my husband insist and tells me that he'll put tape on it -_- not a good idea cause who knows how long it'll last like that,, this sucks it's cheap material .
