Great easy to load and clean snuffle mat
Snuffle mats are wonderful in general as they promote sniffing, which lowers a dog's pulse and promotes stress reduction. But not all snuffle mats are created equal. This is a great snuffle mat. It is very easy to load. I sprinkle treats or kibble over the mat, shake my fingers through it, and the treats sink to the bottom of the mat which promotes deep sniffing from my dog. Many other snuffle mats have adorable pockets and puzzle features that take a lot of time to put the treats into. This mat lacks the adorable factor, but is way more practical. It really mimics grass, which is nature's snuffle mat. (FYI: If you can't afford a snuffle mat you can throw your dog's kibble or treats in the grass to achieve the exact same thing.) This mat is also easy to clean. Just throw it in the washer and then in the dryer. You're supposed to remove the foam border when you wash and dry it, but I never do and it's been fine. Some dogs will pick up the entire mat and shake the treats out instead of snuffling. There are suction cup attachments that can be added to keep the mat on the floor. However, many dogs (including my own) can pull the suction cups off of the floor. Luckily, my dog is happy to snuffle and doesn't even think to pick up the mat. However, she will chew on the suction cups until they detach from the floor so we just don't use them. I work in an animal shelter and have used and cleaned dozens of different kinds of snuffle mats. This is my favorite snuffle mat for easy and convenient use. Snuffle mats can be used to feed entire meals, but my favorite use for a snuffle mat is to reduce a dog's excitement and/or stress level. When my dog becomes excited by something like fireworks or screaming children, I load up the snuffle mat with tiny treats and watch her sniff her way back to a calmer, more relaxed dog.

More Stimulating for Dog than Calculus │ Well Constructed │ SOFT │Washing Machine OK
Coop is a smart pup and I wanted to throw some challenge in his day to day lounging and ball sessions. As he is an Urban English Springer Spaniel we need activities to keep his sniffer in tip top shape (Will be needed in event of Zombie Apocalypse). The mat itself is large, super soft, and surprisingly well made, with deep enough folds to hide treats or kibble (we used kibble). It’s easy for dogs to sniff out food without getting frustrated, making it a fun, rewarding activity. Coopie did figure out the boon of flipping the mat so we did employ the "Stick-on" cups once that occurred. PROS ✅ Gym for the ol' Sniffer ✅ Super soft and gentle materials ✅ Easy Clean - washing machine OK CONS ❌ Not Suction Cups - they are "Stick-on" cups meaning once the adhesive is applied, you cant really move them around/reposition. TIPS 💡 Pick a Permanent Spot - the adhesive cups aren't re-locatable/reusable 💡 Start Easy - place treats at top and then make it more difficult.

A bit floppy, but keeps our dog entertained.
Keeps our dog working for a bit. Decent design, but I wish it was a bit deeper and more compact between the tufts, so the challenge was more difficult, but our dog is a hound, so her sniffer is pretty darn good. It is a soft mat, so imagine it handles like an extra thick bathmat. It doesn't have a solid base or foundation. When you pick it up to fill it with food or treats, you need to support underneath it, or everything will just fall to the floor. That said, it's easy to toss into the washing machine.

Great product
This snuffle mat is amazing! It takes my dogs a lot longer to eat and it’s much better than a slow feeder which my dogs can figure out quite easily. I bought the small size which is definitely big enough for 30-40 lbs dogs. This is durable and easy to use. I do wish it was a bit cheaper price wise.

Love this for my pup!
I got this 20x28 shuffle mat for my 8 Mos old GSD Puppy. He needs mind stimulation and this is a great way to give him his afternoon meal in a slow way while also making his use his brain rather than inhaling it! He worked wntire mat over several times and managed to find every piece of food without lifting up the mat and tossing it as I was concerned he would. The suction things don't work, or they don't work with our floor or I'm not using them right! Regardless, its heavy enough to stay on the ground as he works through it. Once he is finished he sits and waits for me to check it for anything left over. I encourage him to "find it" if there are a few left over and he goes back to working it. He was able to find them all quickly. He really enjoys it! We'll see how long it lasts but this is definitely something I see as worth it for his mental stimulation!

Suction cups aren't dependable, but dog approved either way!
The mat is great for my dog's enrichment, however the suction cups did not work well which made it easy for my dog to chew on. Fortunately the mat works well by itself, so we can continue using it, but the suction cups were a selling point for us.

Great product for high energy/fast eating dogs
This is exactly the quality I was expecting from the description. The kibble doesn’t hide as well in the fibers as I was hoping but it still takes out pup quite a while to find it all and then he is tuckered out by the end of it. Perfect for dogs that need more mental stimulation. Very soft, and he hasn’t even tried to chew it up

My ferrets and I love it!
I’ve only used the mat once but after one use I feel satisfied with the purchase. I can’t comment on durability or washability but I loved watching my two ferrets dig around in the fibers and so far I really like what I feel in the product. The foam border around the edge of the mat is sturdy and their kibble didn’t fall out at all, I poured about a third of a cup on it and they were happily munching for at least twenty minutes. Ferrets probably won’t move it as much as a dog so even without the suction cups it was perfect for them. I was also thrilled because we have pest problems due to an old building, and I didn’t want anything that was going to have the fibers stuck together or hold onto too many crumbs. When they were done, I turned it over and gave it a good shake and it felt like all of the crumbs came out so easily! The tendrils aren’t made of a microfiber or fleece that velcros itself to the textured kibble like I was afraid of, which gives me peace of mind for them AND for getting the missed bits out! Ferret kibble is closer to the size of Cat kibble, it’s quite tiny, so one of my concerns was that they’d eat more fabric than food or get their nails/teeth stuck but at least for now, they didn’t have any trouble getting it out! I’m hopeful a few washes won’t ruin that nice silky texture that lets the Kibble come out easily. I also feel like the density of the tufts it good for this, there’s space near the bases of them for the kibble to settle into but not so sparse that there’s no fun in it! The food hides but isn’t impossible to get out. I looked through a few snuffle mats and have had my eye on this one for over a year because I thought it would be a really good option, but finally purchased it and was so happy and impressed with it. HIGHLY recommend, especially for ferrets who are more likely to nose around than try to dig or move the mat!
