I purchased this unit 2 years ago, What I like about this unit is it doesn't just give you code, it provides troubleshooting procedures. I also liked the fact that it does active monitoring and testing of components, you can save/print data for later review. My main uses have been driveability issues and working on ABS brakes systems. This unit also does diagnostic and programming for TPMS systems. The cost for the updates is reasonable, not like the scanners from the white tool truck that comes around professional shops. You do not have to update the database every year, I only update it when I get a new car! 100% satisfied with this machine

This is a very handy tool and worth every cent. The way manufacturers build their cars today this tool has saved my ass twice over. Not only is it and added service to the shop but the diagnostic power is damaged great. What I don't like is the cost of the annual up dates.

Bought this to work with my newer cars and the few I work on from time to time. Was able to pinpoint errors win a 2008 Highlander and helped us in getting it repaired. We did learn of a bad battery which was also replaced. 4 stars as , to me, a bit of a steep curve in learning functions but not too bad overall. I did like the Bluetooth reader as it allowed me to not be inside the vehicle.

We purchased this for use in in our Chevrolet dealership a little over a year ago. Since then we have used it for a variety of jobs for non GM vehicles that before having this, we would have turned the work away because we didnt have the proper tool. It has proved to be a good investment. And on occassion I have had to reach out for some tech support, and they have always been able to help.

This was the best vehicle purchase I made for my infinuty Qx80 it has helped me reprogram my front sensor after someone backed into my vehicle and has helped me reprogram the side sensors aswell. In addition to this, I also own a 2007 F350 6.0 and customer service literally guided me on how to update the unit and use it for my fuel injectors testing. In addition, the unit is constantly downloading updates for all vehiccls therefore keeping you up to date with the latest and greatest uodates for ALL vehicles. All and all, its an EXCELLENT unit. Much better than others on the market. It truly is a PROFESSIONAL UNIT. This is not an exagerated review. I'm from Miami, FL it this thing ROCKS! Highly recommend it over any other unit. A++++++++++

I purchased this unit (MK808TS) in August 2022, it came with one year of free updates. I bought it for personal use. I went to use it in January 2024, but to my surprise, it didn't work. Come to find out I have to pay for a yearly subscription for it to work. Of course, they did not have that in the description of the one I bought. If I had known that I would not have bought it. Perhaps that is by design! I paid $684 for a unit that will not work after the first year without buying a yearly subscription. Customer service told me it would work if the software didn't get corrupted. Believe me, your software will be CORRUPTED and you will have to pay! They did not have that in the description of the unit I bought. You have to dig to find it. I am OCD when it comes to the care of my tools and my unit is like new but guess what it doesn't work because it is corrupt. VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER!!! Q: Just wanting to know how much is the yearly subscription on mo808ts A: Autel official price of one year update for MK808TS is $295. Kindly be noted that there is a one-year free update for the tool starting from the registration date. After one year update expires, the software on the tool can still be used as long as it is not corrupted. But if you want to fix bugs in the current software or keep the tool covering newer functions or car models, you’ll need to buy a subscription for it.

I own the Autel MaxiCOM MK808S-TS. Model I first used it on my VW Passat. The traction control light had been on for years but I was able to pinpoint that the front driver and right rear speed sensor failed. I did the same on my Silverado. I started using on my family’s cars as well. A 08 Sebring with loss of power and the Autel reported throttle position sensor issue. I replaced the throttle body which had a new sensor and used the Autel to reset the cars computer so it would accept the new throttle body. I am an amateur mechanic and I work on my own cars. I save money and I trust myself, this scanner definitely makes it easier and saves me time. It has a solid case, is rechargeable, you can expand the storage and its easy to update. If you need internet and you are not close to wifi, use your cell phone as a hotspot and you can look up codes from the scanner. I keep a pair of latex gloves and an extension mirror in the case
