Mighty Max Battery YTX14-BS - 12 Volt 12 AH, 200 CCA, Rechargeable Maintenance Free SLA AGM Motorcycle Battery

This battery fits snugly in my 2002 Heritage Softail. The suffix “BS” indicates that it’s a “Bottle Supplied” battery, meaning the battery is dry and I’ll need to add the acid myself. Surprisingly, no bottles were supplied, so I didn’t have to worry about that. This battery is an absorbed glass mat (AGM) battery. AGM batteries consist of a thin fiberglass sheet installed between lead plates. This design is advantageous because it ensures even contact between the acid and the plates, regardless of their position. Additionally, the AGM provides some structural support to the lead plates, preventing them from drooping due to vibrations like those from a pothole. This reduces the risk of short circuits and premature battery failure caused by excessive vibration. WIN! I connected the battery to my NOCO 10 charger, and it took only two hours for the charger to complete the slow and low-power charge. The bike had been in storage for two years, but it started immediately after I added some starting fluid. The battery showed excellent starting performance, Plenty of power to start my sleepy bike. I don’t mind the weight of the battery; it’s actually quite light in the rear wheel.

After a long break, I needed a new battery to get my bike project moving forward again. Bought this Mighty Max battery and was glad to see it was nearly 13V right from the box. Fit was good in the bike, and b/c the carbs were all empty it took a while to get it turned over, but the battery never gave up. I cranked on it off and on for a while and it never got too low. Always rebounded great from key on to key off. Finally the gas got moving and it turned right over. Idled for a while, and now I have plastic to put on. Do like me: overcome your laziness and get things ready to ride again. Getting a new battery really got this project to the finish line and got me in the mood to get riding again! Two bikes down with new Mighty Max batteries, two more to go!

Battery seems good. The grizzly 660 2003 started right up didn’t have to charge the battery. The only downfall is like customers are saying is the battery connection it’s terrible but the best way to give you is they have these little flat nuts with rectangular connectors, so my best advice would give you is use electrical tape shovel electrical tape underneath the first put the bolts to hold the flat nut into the square box on the plus and positive and minus side then installed Electrical tape to keep the nuts in place because the batteries fit lay down inside the belly of the grizzly and then put electrical tape around the hole connector and everything worked out fine

I purchased this battery to replace a smaller battery on my cub cadet XT1. This battery is a little bigger than the oem AGM that came with the tractor new, dead all the time., the good is the battery box for the smaller OEM AGM battery is removable leaving lots of room. My drop in mount leaves plenty of room and perfect fit, The starting performance with a good charging capacity is a real plus here on my XT1, mighty max is a good battery brand i have used before.

I only deducted 1 star because the battery is new and it's not really fair to give 5 stars before seeing how long it lasts. Otherwise the battery fits and the bike started up much stronger than with my failing old battery. It was easy to install with the provided bolts and we'll see how long it lasts. Overall the price made it an extremely good value

Battery is as described and arrived fully charged. Worked on my 2022 Canam Spyder F3 LTD for a third the price of the dealers battery. Amazon said it wouldn’t fit but I bought it anyway based on the group number and measurements. It Is identical to the original battery in size, cca and terminal placement.

Going on 3 years with this battery. Doesn't hold a full charge without being used for a few days.
