The pictures made it seem that it was a flat bottomed mount. And I bought it as such for my purpose. But it does have a slight curve to the bottom of the mount for it to work with helmets. As such I haven't used it yet but the curve is so slight that I'm thinking a bit of foam or padding between the mount and the object should allow it to work just fine.Bought it for the heavy duty aluminum over plastic options and I can for sure say it's 100% worth it. I've cracked so many plastic brackets over the years. Once I find a way to use it to my needs. It's staying for good.Worth it.

Works good, the tri-bracket is slightly too wide and you have to overtighten for it to snug down. The spacing is a little to wide for the go pro connections so you really have to tighten down the threads for it to lock it to a camera mount. Used on my Shoei motorcycle helmet with some drilling.

I used this product to mount an action camera on my paintball mask.Its made of the same material as HK models yet it's cheaper. Very durable and easy to install. The camera was much more stable than plastic mounts I have used because I can tighten the screws more with breaking the mount.Its worth the price and I would buy another if I ever need it.

Product could be a great mount, if mounted on other than a dye mask. Due to the product not having another plate to sandwich the masks air vent, my gopro would bounce alot. Yes the gopro has stabilization, the when running, the gopro bouncing on by head was an annoyance. Gave this product a 3 star because it might work for a more solid object to mount on, just not the dye mask.

My plastic one disintegrated, this seems to be a much more sturdy option from aluminum

Strong! Maybe a tad too strong lol! I didn’t account for the fact that it won’t flex when tightening the camera or whatever device to it lol! It won’t flex at all so my camera would be very loose. I literally had to tighten it with pliers 😂. That’s the reasoning behind my weird rating!

La utilicé para adaptar una GoPro en un casco (Phenix) de bombero y la curvatura se adaptó perfectamente a la parte que sobresale de la parte delantera. Los materiales se sienten de gran calidad, y al día de hoy no he tenido ningún inconveniente, considerando la exposición a altas temperaturas y humedad.
