Lovely solid keyboard, with an inoffensive, silky but satisfying click. Keys really easy to clean around with a paintbrush. Lighting effects nice and bright but only really use the pre-programmed 'aimo' which is spot on. Physical sound volume is great and has a good solid feel to it, much easier than looking for volume controls on various apps and browser windows. Swarm software that supports this is a bit overblown (useful for someone who wants to record macros though) however, have fallen a bit in love with the sound feedback so I can have a loud, in headphone traditional clicky sound when coding without annoying anyone (well ...if I was back in the office). Have an older Roccat Kone EMP mouse however, it isn't compatible with aimo lighting effects which is a shame. Newer models do. Bought this as a treat for myself and found it was the best keyboard I've ever had for coding. Its responsive, has excellent key spacing - which reduces fat-finger typing mistakes and has the | \ / @ symbols all where they need to be (last keyboard needed some arcane key combos). I can type a smidge faster during a long day and as odd as it sounds this keyboard is..just fun. Its tkl and I haven't missed them but I notice the extra desk space. If I was moving this keyboard around a lot I'd be worried about the USB-C /HDMI connecting cable which is not braided and finding generic replacements might be difficult as the USB-C port is shaped to hold the connection snugly. Not much more to say other than I love it. Zero buyers remorse. Would buy again. Highly recommend.

Good points, As many online reviews say, sturdy construction, a nice feel to the clicky keys, and well spaced - reducing even my typo count - nerve damage and phat phingers make typos a way of life for me. Bad points, No Capslock indication light -a real issue when entering passwords, where you cannot select to see what you are typing. Backlighting mode keeps reverting to default after PC shutdown - but not always.... I need to keep an eye on this and see if I am doing something different when it remembers the backlight setting. Only works as a basic keyboard until you download the Swarm software - not even the audio mute works until then. Finally, a minor point, the Roccat website refers to this as the Vulcan 2 TKL keyboard; whereas the packaging just says "Vulcan TKL". I spent some time trying to make sure I didnt have an older, unsupported version of the keyboard.

To be honest it's an all round great entry keyboard for myself, maybe not so much as this keyboard for an entry to the "mechanical" gaming keyboards as I have been using my laptops keyboard for over years now and that felt really good to type with but with this keyboard I feel like typing is quite difficult maybe over time I will get used to it but that's the one con I have with this. Other than that it's beautiful and its RGB is incredible with its many effects and customisation and the software to do all that is great too. I would recommend!

At this price I have no complaints about this keyboard. The switches are some of the best I've ever used, they have a smooth feel and sound, that makes typing an absolute joy! Since Roccat was taken over by Turtle Beach you'll have to use the Turtle Beach Swarm software to get the most out of this keyboard, but the customization and RGB lighting is top notch.

Well made and a pleasure to use. UK layout. Backlight is rather dazzling. Hint: Search for "Turtle Beach Swarm II" for the control app; the tiny manual is well out of date. This app is not well laid out! 1. click on the picture of the keyboard. 2. then on "illumination" on the left. 3. then on the tiny arrow at the bottom right of the "CUSTOM" icon, to get to the colour key assignments page. Good luck with that!

Great stuff. The linear switches are a blast and sweet to bang on. Love all the aesthetics.

I've had SteelSeries, Razer, Logitech, and Corsair keyboards, but this was my first outing with Roccat. I needed a compact TKL keyboard, and this was the first one that grabbed my attention - I also knew the name because Dr Disrespect uses the Pro model. I wasn't sure what I expected, but the Roccat Vulcan TKL is probably the best keyboard I've ever owned. There's not a thing wrong with it for me, and everything from the sound of the keys to the AIMO intelligent lighting and from the exposed switches to the brightness and clarity of the RGB, it's perfect. The on-board media controls are fantastic, and the general size of the keyboard is flawless - and I've got big, clunky hands. I love the font used on the keycaps, and every touch feels so stable and well supported - even the space bar doesn't wobble, regardless of where you press it. I'm a huge fan of the aluminum baseboard, too - thanks to the raised, exposed switches, cleaning the keyboard is child's play, and the small form factor combined with the removable USB-C cable means that it's portable and easy to store away if I need the desk space. Absolutely a 10 out of 10 piece of equipment, I cannot fault it.
