Andy Capp's Hot Fries, Cheddar Fries, BBQ Fries, and Ranch Fries, One 3 Oz Bag of Each (Pack of 4) - with Make Your Day Bag Clip

I grew up on Andy Capp fries on the East Coast and now that I’m on the West Coast, I hardly ever see these in the stores anymore. Generally, the price for a package is about $1-2 per bag so it depends on how much you’re willing to pay for additional shipping even with free Amazon prime. The bags are definitely smaller than other chip bags that you can get for about $3+ in the store so it’s not cheap.Andy Capp is basically a hybrid of Chester’s Hot Fries and a corn chip snack like Bugles and Fritos. The chips are shaped like Chester’s Hot Fries and because of the corn, it has an additional crunch to it. (Chester’s is a hybrid of Andy Capp and Flaming Hot Cheetos.)The package did come with each advertised flavor which I never tried the BBQ or Ranch so I decided to splurge and order this.BBQ has a mild sweetness to it and reminds me of a crunchier version of Lay’s BBQ potato chips.Ranch was okay, it wasn’t quite to my taste. It has a larger tang than I expected.Hot fries is the most popular flavor. It definitely does not taste the same as Chester’s Hot Fries or Flaming Hot Cheetos. It is the original hot fries I tried when I was younger. The spiciness is the slow build up type.Cheddar fries is my favorite. It has a slight artificial taste, but it’s like telling someone who likes Cheez Whiz not to like it. It’s definitely not for everyone. I loved Cheddar fries mainly because when you eat enough of them, the chips is similar to Cheetos and leaves your fingers full of cheese powder. I don’t particularly like having chip flavors on my fingers anymore but this flavor is very nostalgia for me that I’ll order more in the future.

A really great salty snack. Of the 4 flavors, my favorites are the hot and cheddar cheese. Don’t know why they are tough to find in grocery stores.

While the chips came fine, the clip wasn't what was shown. I received two small clips that are dirty. They look like they came from the .99 cents store. Definitely not the clip shown in the picture.
