Dritz Fray Check Liquid Seam Sealant Glue Bonus Value Pack - 2 Bottles 3/4 Oz Review: Great product! - I've used this product for many years and find it superior to any of the bargain brands. It dries to a nearly invisible and undetectable seal that won't fail. What I like best, is that it doesn't have a plastic texture, nor any texture of its own, at all. You don't even know it's there. It just keeps materials from fraying or running. The results last and last, through multiple launderings and Fraycheck is easy to use. I like to squeeze the bottle gently because "a lttle dab 'l do ya," as my Dad used to say. Remember to put the little cap back on when you're done. It matters! My Costume Design Prof. used to frown on using this type of product to ensure that seams and tricky sewing jobs would remain secure. She was "old school." But, I am practical, and don't want to have to reconstruct and repair things. That's a waste of time and money, when a product like Fraycheck ensures that things will stay the way you made them, wear after wear, and wash after wash. I also use this product to reinforce ready-to-wear seams of dubious integrity. I recently read a review of a product that reported "weird tearing" of a garment. The reviews were otherwise good. She'd included pictures. I could see that frayed edges near the seams, were the cause of the tearing. I plan to run a fine line of Fraycheck along the seams of mine, and suggested this in my review. The garment is made from a beautiful satin material. The raw edges fray like mad. Why fight it? I know from experience that this is the right product to prevent issues from developing in fabrics that fray easily. I also use this to reinforce buttonholes and the spot where my buttons are sewn on. That little bit of extra reinforcement keeps the buttonholes secure and the buttons on the outfit, where they belong! So many uses, I buy the double pack, as you see. Review: This stuff is the greatest! - This works so well to stop material from fraying! It was recommended on a sewing site. No fragrance whatsoever and dries very quickly. You only need a tiny little bit because it absorbs quickly into the rest of your fabric. Use it sparingly. I’ve been using it for about a year now for my craft projects, and I’ve never had one dry out, but make sure you put the lid on tightly. Great stuff!

The opposite of unravel is...
Couldn't live without this. This glue holds my mind in place as well as my thread. If not for this, everything would unravel.

Dritz Fray Check Liquid Seam Sealant
There is a rather strong odor, so make sure to be in a ventilated area as it dries. The smell does away. It can dry around the screw to and not exit the nozzle, so be mindful of that. But overall, it is great for making sure ribbon and cord does not fray.

It works!
I was kind of skeptical about this actually working but it does! I had a raw hem dress I was altering and didn't want it to fray from wearing and washing it. I got this and COATED the edges even though others said a little goes a long way, I got impatient since it was a maxi dress. I almost used a whole bottle on this one dress... After it dried the edges were crispy and rough but when wearing it I didn't even notice it. I washed it too and it felt even better and wasn't as rough to the touch anymore and no frays! I recommend wearing gloves and using your fingers to really spread it on the edges. It does have a chemical smell so I'd have a fan going too. I will be repurchasing for future raw edged clothes!

Love this brand of fray prevention. Easy to use, dries quickly and great job preventing fraying.

So far this is exactly what I needed for finishing my cross stitching products, especially for finishing the edges so that the stitches wouldn't fray over time, which is an issue that I've had before.

Magical stuff. Have to use it because I don't have a serger and the work I was doing was too small to do a proper seam allowance and overcast.
