Damn Good Strings
I use the .12-52 rollerwound EJs on a semi-hollow Ibanez (closest to a Gibson/Epiphone ES-339 style instrument.) These are my favorite strings for a variety of styles. The feel is ridiculously smooth, they last a long time, and keep that roundwound sound when needed.If you want a little more bite and brightness than flatwound strings, these are better than any 'halfwound' string and darken up brilliantly with the tone knob down to 4-5.I'm switching my couple solidbody guitars to the same set in .10-46. These are awesome.
