Found these recommended in some YouTube videos and, for the price, I'm very impressed. You can tell the buttons are of cheap construction, but the seller is upfront that these aren't meant for professional use. As you can see from the picture, I used this kit for a simple cardboard arcade stick build for playing games casually on my PC. The board also has 3 5V 2-pin connectors that have been soldered on which can be used for any accessories that require 5V, such as a small fan or LEDs. I'll definitely be tinkering with this some more and will replace the buttons with Sanwas or 1upArcades once they wear out, but the joystick is already a Sanwa brand and I'm quite happy with how it feels, so I'll likely be hanging onto it for quite a while.

Got this to mod arcade mini cabinet and it works very well. I like the simplicity of the one wire for both the led and button... The joystick has a good feel and nice click to it.

Super easy to assemble. I had some issues in retropie, but nothing I couldn't manually correct in software. If going fancy I would also recommend the wooden ball top from brook, since I wasn't super impressed with the original topper

Works perfectly on my arcade1up. Bought this one because it had the color buttons I wanted. Other ones on Amazon are either all red or all blue. Satisfied!

Built my own countertop arcade & these worked perfectly. LEDs are bright but not too bright

i made an arcade control panel for my son.you can use any buttons and it gets detected as an generic xbox controller.so it works with anything from Raspberry Pi and Zero retro installs to PCs .The buttons light up and you can dissasemble them and put your own labels under the buttons if you want.The quality is on the cheaper side but totally functional and fine.I will buy this set again to make a wooden version thats more perminant.

It is a basic kit, don't expect something with a lot of quality, otherwise it works quite well

Davvero un ottimo joystick, di ottima qualità e molto preciso.Ho solo dovuto aspettare in po’ per averlo perché veniva direttamente dalla Cina durante il periodo di Natale/Capodanno.Se volete costruirvi un joystick da soli lo consiglio vivamente (senza spendere troppo).Di buono ha anche il fatto che la leva si può sostituire con il top a palla, in base ai gusti/necessità.Io personalmente per una migliore esperienza arcade preferisco il layout a leva.
