Consistent readings
I’ve used this on lots of different pieces of wood around the house and the sheds and it’s given consistent readings. I’m happy with it and it’s very easy to use, select A or B (or leave it on what it was last set on) and spike it into the wood. Can’t get easier than that. I’ve probably had it on for 20-30 minutes in total so far and it still shows full battery.

Very accurate good moisture meter , the screen could be better as its quite difficult to see measurment in direct sunlight

Used for logs - works well
Seems to work well. Can’t really comment on accuracy as nothing to calibrate against but no reason to doubt it. It has prompted us to put some logs to one side to dry out bit further. Was also crucial when doing some timber window repairs to ensure wood was sufficiently dry to take resin filler. Only issue is the little magnetic cover, it falls off in use but ok in storage. All together recommended.

Not enough batteries for it to work, and the instructions are deliberately overcomplicated
This thing takes 3AAA Batteries, so to deliberately p*ss you off, of course, they send 2 batteries! Good job I have a post-pandemic supply of Duracell and not had to rely these cheap rubbish batteries, of which 1 is missing. Just prodded my writing desk with it, according to the meter it is 8% moisture. Then prodded a log, which it claims has 15%. Not sure I trust this reading, much, the desk's been by a radiator for years and the log's been seasoned outside. Also, instead of simple at a glance, instructions, it comes with a novel-sized booklet, full of waffle and irrelevancies. All we need to know is how to use it in the simplest terms possible. Any idiot can overcomplicate a problem. Maybe they don't depict how to insert the batteries because they are scamming by only sending two.

📍 📦Das Messgerät wurde gut und sicher verpackt nach Hause geliefert. 📦 ✔ ⏩Alles mit dabei so dass man gleich anfangen kann zu messen, so muss es sein. ✔ ⏩Ja das ist auch mal qualitativ hochwertig, nach Jahren mit günstigen Messgeräten habe ich endlich mal ein gutes gekauft. Das Messgerät von Bosch ist definitiv sein Geld wert und und kann das Gerät mit dem Deckel immer selbst kalibrieren. Perfekt umgesetzt ✔️✔️✔️ ✔ ⏩am besten das trockene Holz nochmal spalten und dann dort messen, dann kann man sicher sein dass es trocken ist. Auch gut ist die LED mit direkter Anzeige wie eine Ampel. Aber auch der genaue Wert wird schnell und fit ablesbar angezeigt. Vergleicht man dann diese Werte mit meinem alten Geräten, können Sie sich vorstellen wo die alten Geräte nun sind. ✔Mein kurzes Fazit: ↪️Lieber gleich was vernünftiges kaufen, und dieses Gerät ist für zuhause genau das richtige. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist top und somit gerne 5 Sterne. ✔💐✔Ich hoffe ich konnte Ihnen ein paar nützliche Informationen zukommen lassen und bedanke mich recht herzlich fürs Lesen bis hier hin.✔💐✔
