dimensions...will it fit Weber Genesis silver A

It is too long. Silver A is 24" long.

is this Weber part number 80633 and will it fit my genesis silver 2004?

I tried it on a 2001 Silver "C" and a 2000 Silver "B". Same as the originals.

The dimensions are 4.75" X 25" including the tips that stick out on the ends.

Yes, the 25" is the longest rack dimension including the tips that fit in the notches of the grill. without the tips 24". My Genesis grill inside dimension is 24 1/4 and this fits it exactly. It came as original weber and is excellent quality.

I don't understand your dimensions mine is 24 x 4 3/4 " you put 24 x 5 x 6 where does the 6 come in

I am not sure where the Dimensions came from, and they do not make sense. According to other web sites the Dimensions are 4-3/4" X 25" wide. The width measurement includes the rod tips which set into the notches on the grill. (Please measure your warming rack including rod tips)
