Igloo Island Breeze 9, Diablo Red, 9 Qt (32603)

I used one very similar to this for almost twelve years as a marine police officer. It handled the beating and banging of the boat, kept my food cold with a single ice pack and it certainly worth the the cost of it. This new one seems bigger and taller than my previous one, but it still works great. It can carry a full six pack plus have room for sandwiches or snacks. Time will tell if it can now hold up to my present activities. Great cooler!!

Great cooler for the price! I can fit 4 ice packs and 5-6 bottles of water (or more beverages if using juice boxes or cans) along with some loose ice cubes tossed on top as well. I know other reviewers mentioned issues with the handle breaking while carrying the cooler but since my needs were to have it sitting stationary on my front porch (I bought it to provide cold drinks for delivery drivers as a token of my appreciation for their hard work during the COVID-19 pandemic) it has been a great buy for me. Very happy with this purchase!

This thing kicks dicks! it basically has 2 qualities to it that I'm looking for. It holds beer and is also small. It has a handle that will probably break off before too long but who cares, this little bastard is the size of a football, if you can't sling this wicked lil' bitch under your arm in the name of keeping a few cold ones in their desired state for when you get to the boys, what are you even doing with yourself. Size wise, this cooler is perfect, it'll comfortably fit about an 8 lb bag of ice and 8 beers and a little room left over for when the rager gets a little bit out of hand and you need to get someone to the hospital real quick and with all their nerve ending still in tack for reattachment.

I gave this fine cooler 4 stars. Even though it is a fine cooler, there is some room for design improvement. The lid can be stubborn to open, due to the fact of the absence of adequate area to grip the lid to open it. A finger recess or ample lip would be nice. The carry handle locks back in the down position very well, too well. Again, the lack of adequate grip area to pull back up. If you don't lock the handle completely down, the lid won't stay up while loading it. If you can live with the aforementioned, it's a nice, inexpensive cooler you don't have to worry about getting ran over.

Great little cooler! It's roomy enough for personal use without being too large and bulky. Unlike some that are taller and tend to fall over easily, this one is a little shorter and wider, providing good stability. The lid requires a little effort to open and close, ensuring it doesn't just open on it's own but not too difficult to open, by any means. It's insulating properties are top notch, keeping items much cooler than the ice chest it replaced. The deep red color is nice and the materials it's made from seem to be good quality, as well. Highly recommend it!

I use this to carry my lunch and cold water to work each day. It has plenty of room for a 28oz water bottle, ice packs, cold food, and some snacks. It actually has a bit too much room, so I add some towels on top to separate a cold section from an ambient section.My only complaint is that the handle is not securely attached. The reviews are true. It pops out very easily. BUT, because it pops out so easily, it can pop back in very easily. As long as I don't hold it with anything else in my hand, and/or if I don't pick it up from the seat of my car at an angle, it stays together. Although, it is a bit embarrassing when I'm holding it slightly askew and all of a sudden the whole ice chest falls away from the handle and my food goes flying....LMAO. I just pick everything up, repack, and put the handle back in, and continue my day.The main body of the ice chest is adequately made, and I will keep using it until I can afford a different one. If you plan on carrying your ice chest by the handle, I would not recommend. But if you don't particularly need to carry this - it's fine.
