I used this SOLPERK 20W 12V solar panel kit on my box trailer to maintain a Jack Boss 5Ah battery and my motorcycle battery while in storage, and it has worked great. It keeps both batteries charged and maintained without any issues. Thanks to this setup, I now have the ability to run lights in my box trailer even when it’s not connected to a vehicle, which has been extremely convenient. The panel feels well made, was easy to set up, and has been very reliable. Overall, this is a great product and an excellent value for the money.

UPDATE 1/11/26: It has been over 2 months since I installed this solar charger for my lawn tractor battery and I am still very impressed. I did have to install some extra wire length to reach my lawn tractor battery, but that was not the fault of the solar panel and was relatively easy to do. What I did do, that has been a big help, is glue magnets to the back of the controller, which now keeps it from hanging or falling off the lawn tractor. The controller, with only 3 lights, is easy to read and quickly assess if it is charging and if the battery is charged. Even on cloudy days, this solar panel is charging! I'm considering getting another Solperk Solar Panel kit for my farm tractor stored in a "non-electrified" barn. So far, I really enjoy not having to worry about a discharged battery when I want to use my lawn tractor! I've had no problems with this solar panel and controller! I purchased the SOLPERK Solar Panel Kit 20W 12V, Solar Battery Trickle Charger Maintainer to charge the battery on my lawn tractor, which sits in a shed without electric service. So, the battery didn't seem to maintain a full charge between uses and sometimes wouldn't turn the engine over. I installed this yesterday to help maintain the lawn tractor battery in full capacity. The installation is pretty simple, with a bracket to hold the solar panel provided. Just a note, the bracket can only be mounted in a horizontal position to support the solar panel and provide directional control for the panel to face the sun. Installing the bracket vertically, will only allow the solar panel to be turned left and right and will be perpendicular to the sun if mounted on a vertical post or wall. There is about 8' of wiring to the controller which connects to the panel. The controller requires no programming by the user. Connect the controller to the 12V battery (battery clamps provided with unit) then plug it in to the solar panel and three lights will tell you everything. The blue light (on top of the others) tells you the panel is in the sunlight and providing normal voltage. The second light is red and will tell you that it is charging the battery. The third light (green) appears only when the battery is charged, which means the battery has 14.2 volt charge. It comes with a set of wires to actually screw down on battery posts. So far, the unit seems to be working and has charged my 12V battery fully! No need to remove the connections when charged, as the controller will prevent it from overcharging the battery. I don't know about longevity of the product, the controller is supposed to be waterproof but I keep it inside with the lawn tractor. Other than keeping the solar panel clean with a damp towel, and the battery clamps clean, there isn't much more maintenance required, the instructions say! So far, I do like the unit and being able to keep my lawn tractor battery at full charge! Easy installation!

This panel and controller works as expected. Charged up my 12 volt barreries in a reasonable time frame. Nice and compact. Perfect for my solar experiment to keep 12 volt batteries charged for charging USB devices like phones and led lights.

I got this mainly to keep my car battery from dying when I don’t drive it for a few days, and it’s been doing exactly that without any hassle.Setup was easier than I expected. Everything you need comes in the kit, and the adjustable mount made it simple to angle the panel toward the sun. It feels pretty sturdy too—not flimsy or cheap.Once it was up and running, I didn’t really have to think about it. The controller seems to do its job in the background, and my battery has stayed healthy without me needing to check on it constantly.It’s not something that’s going to bring a dead battery back to life, but for maintaining a charge, it works really well. Overall, just a simple, reliable setup that does what it’s supposed to

I bought this portable solar panel and I'm really happy with it. ☀️🔋 It's easy to install, comes with all the necessary cables and the controller to safely charge the battery. The material seems durable and the stand allows you to position it at the ideal angle to get the most sunlight. Perfect for camping, emergencies, or having power in places without electricity. Works as stated. Good value. I use it to trickle feed my motorhome starter battery while it is stored. The cables are a fair length for most; however, I did need to extend mine because I wanted it on the roof of the motorhome where it was in the sun all day and not sitting on the ground. It does come with a handy bracket that can be used as a stable stand, or for mounting somewhere. It also has a controller to make sure it doesn't over-charge. I'll see how it goes for a few months and update the review if need be.

I purchased with the hope that this charger would keep my car battery charged over several months while I was away from home. I have now used it twice, both for two month periods where the car was parked under a carport. Even though the charger was not in full sun, it has worked and the battery has been fully charged each time on my return.
