Medline Sidestepper Adult Hemi Walker

I recently had surgery. This was perfect for me because I have small bathrooms that a regular walker would not fit into without a struggle. It is strong, very sturdy and able to support me when getting to and up off the toilet. I also take it into the shower to manuver around with. The rubber stoppers on the feet grip well. Dries off clean with a swipe of a towel. Highly recommend.

Well made, and a good value – – but one needs to keep in mind that any person requiring support in order to walk is going to get a lot less from only one side. To that end, this is probably best for people transitioning from a standard walker to a cane. A good analogy is using one crutch instead of two.

Purchased at recommendation of my disabled husband’s physical therapist. I’d never heard of a side walker. It is really helping him learn to walk again and be more independent. A life changing investment.

This is great for stroke patients! Very stable, made well and great to use for getting up and down when one side is weaker. Great to walk with. Smaller than a full size walker and folds for easy transport.
