eMod - Modern Coffee Table Triangle Glass Top Premium Wood Base (Light Walnut)

Item was delivered sooner than expected. It was so very well and smartly packaged - despite being oversized and heavy - so it arrived in perfect condition. The table itself is beautiful. The finish on the base is astoundingly beautiful. Beautiful color, exquisite finish, the shape and finish are true to the original design. The glass is heavy, thick and a beautiful slightly-green color. Honestly, for such a good price, we weren't sure what to expect. But the vendor has delivered an excellent product, at excellent value, with excellent delivery.

This table will make you smile every time you use it. The glass is thick and sturdy and the design is gorgeous.

I bought this table about a year ago. It was easy to put together, looked nice and seemed to be of high quality. However, within a few months of using the table, I noticed that the base of the table would occasionally lean a few degrees. When I saw this, I would straighten it out. However, one day last month, a friend and I were sitting at the couch watching a movie. He put his feet on the table (as people are known to do) and the table base (which consists of a solid 60lb piece of glass) came crashing down without warning. Luckily, there was no one on the opposite side of the table and no pets underneath the table, otherwise, there would have been serious injuries. Since then, I ended up buying an authentic Herman Miller Naguchi Table Base, which is designed and constructed in a way that prevents this failure mode (i.e. there is a critical anti-rotation mechanism connecting the 2 pieces of the base). Equally disturbing is the lack of response from this company and from Amazon, who is actively shielding me from the supplier and is not willing to remove this unsafe product from their site.

The table is beautiful. Bigger than I expected....but beautiful. HOWEVER, the glass itself has to weigh over 100 pounds. I am an in shape 26 year old 110 pound female and could not even slide the glass an inch when it was lying flat on the floor. So the idea of picking it up to put on the wooden frame was a joke. I was able to place it on the wooden frame with my 200 pound weight lifting brother. Even with him though, it was extremely difficult to do!! If you have at least two strong men who are willing to help you, then this table might work for you. If you don't, then I recommend you look for a lighter table. I wouldn't have purchased this had I realized it would be so heavy that I wouldn't be able to move it at all by myself. However, it's already in my apartment, and I have no idea how I would return this....so I'm keeping it.

My expectations for this coffee table was that it would be a very nice table but I am shocked at how nice this table is. The wood base is finished perfectly. The steel rod connecting the two pieces of wood was high quality stainless steel, no cost cutting in sight. But top honors go to the glass top. It is more than an inch thick. It is perfect in clarity, no waves, no imperfections, nothing and the edges are perfectly finished. It is also very heavy, you'll need two strong people to maneuver it into place. Overall, outstanding, couldn't be happier with the purchase.

I have used this coffee table. It is Triangle Glass Top Dark Walnut Base coffee table. Features of this table are : - Two interlocking Solid European Hardwood Frame wood pieces. Translucent color quality allowing the interesting areas of the grain to show through the stain. - Hand-applied and buffed stains allow the wood grain to absorb the color while not painting the surface. - Tempered glass of coffee table. Square honed edge, easy to clean surface. - 5 coats of Ultra Violet Light cured poly-urethane finish for a glass like, highly scratch resistant shine that never needs waxing.
