Perfect for fake campfires
This works really well. It's looks great when you pile firewood on top of the bowl, as we did, to create a realistic campfire fire. It's is just bright enough to look decent on a float trailer.

Such a great addition to a Halloween display.
Buy several, they look great. This newer versions of these types of products don't have the problem of hot-bulbs that older products (from other manufacturers) had. The LED bulbs in these new products stay nice and cool. I would say the orange hue isn't QUITE as nice as the holder (hotter) incandescent products, but I'll trade hue for safety. The key to good Halloween decorating is the lighting, and these hanging caldrons are a terrific addition to your lighting plan.

On time but incomplete
The box was damaged, the item arrived incomplete: the hanging chains were not included. Item did function properly and arrived on time.

Only red LEDs
I like the style and the fan is not too loud, but the led lights are only red, so it does not look as much like fire as I would have liked.

Looks great
I love these fake fire pots. I have placed them inside Halloween lanterns, that I made. I really like these Halloween Lanterns with the flame lights: no one can be hurt (particular children) and I don't have to constantly watch them. I like them so much I made 4 lanterns, two for the inside of my home and two that flank my front door at Halloween. The children in my neighborhood love them and so do my grandchildren.To find the directions to make the lanterns, search youtube for: K & T DIY Cemetery Lantens. I plugged these in a week before Halloween and they ran 24/7 until the day after. I worried they'd give out before Halloween night but they never missed a beat.

Looks like angry windsock at sunset
Had one of these about 10 years ago. Very realistic, had to put your finger in it to tell it was fake. This one looks like a sad version of a windsock. It's very obvious that it's not real, looks like a piece of trash flapping in the wind. The light is red, NOT orange like the description says. Don't buy this thing.
