Everything looks the same and it seems to be working good, there is a slight difference in the lock tabs so the motor sits a little loose, nothing a little silicone won't fix though

Anyone with an expedition this era (i assume trucks as well) knows about the grounding harness issues in the dash and seat heaters etc. I've battled the blower many times, replaced the resistor, the harness end, tried an external ground wire to the battery, always still had blower issues. This time I started from scratch, installed a new harness, new blower, new resistor and FINALLY the HVAC system works 100% as it should. Easy swap, this one fit exactly right and was fits as it should. Nice price compared to OEM too. Buy with confidence.

Blows hard, but not a perfect fit on a 2008 Ford Expedition. It feel kind of loose in the air box vs the OEM one. Seems to work fine though.

Saved me a ton of money over getting the part from autozone. Slipped right in and works great. It is a little louder than the original part but that's fine. The Expedition is a beefy truck so I kind of like the manly roar this replacement makes. Drizzt approved!

Wheel was very out of balance

Our 2008 Ford Expedition Limited has had intermittent blower issues for a while but it would be dead so infrequently that it didn't bother us. Recently, it pretty much stopped turning on, at any speed, and seemed random when it would work. I did some voltage and connection tests and tried the cheaper Blower Resistor, but it didn't solve it. I realized that if I tapped the bottom of the blower it would turn off and on. After confirming it wasn't the harness, I succumbed to ordering a new blower. Enter this part, it came in a box matching it's images, and the box was wrapped in a gloss black plastic, adding a high end feel. It was very well packaged with cardboard inserts supporting the cylindrical fan blades and motor housing. You need to pull back the carpet and squish the sound deadener padding a bit to get the blower out/in, but it was a 5 minute job in the end. I initially thought it was going to be loose in its "socket" but once I rotated it a bit further than the stock fan, it tightened up and the female connector accepted the stock harness with a defined snap. I started the truck and the new fan spun up right away. Either this fan is more powerful than the original, or we've forgotten how powerful it once was. Either way, this replacement fit and works like new. I'd buy parts, especially at this price, from this company again. This part really blows!
