I got these for my kids car because he put the show hood clips on that nothing but are pretty LOL. They keep people from taking the hood pins wich is nice. They seem like good quality.

Works perfectly on my sailboat.
I use one of these to secure the wind vane to the mast on my WindRider-16 sailing trimaran, in case I drop the vane when furling the sail. The wind vane doesn't float, and dropping it is a real possibility when removing it to rotate the mast.
