Better than Expected!
Shipping was very fast! The box is heavy! The components seem to be very good quality. Assembly takes some time (but I expected this -- and I'm not very handy nor fast). But it was pretty simple to figure out (there is an arrow on the bottom of the seat pointing towards the front for the reviewer complaining it was difficult to figure out). The base is a nice metal (I would have preferred a one-piece, solid metal rather than having to completely assemble the base) that seems sturdy. I replaced the casters with rollerblade style found inexpensively on Amazon (I feel like these are better for my hardwood floors). The chair glides across my floor seemingly effortlessly. The seat seems wider than normal, which I prefer (and I'm not all that big). It is a reasonably thick foam (vs. mesh, which I've got nothing against) and is very comfortable. The arms go up and down, in and out, and forward and backward. I suppose the only thing missing is tilting -- but I would never use that anyway. At any rate, the arms probably do more than I need. I don't know that you can call this dynamic lumbar support. What I do know is that the lumbar support fits me wonderfully and provides just the right support for my body. And the mesh back feels very comfortable and provides the right support. The head/neck support is easy to adjust. It may not be X-chair quality but for about a tenth of the price what do you expect? I'm able to comfortably rock yet can sit comfortably in a stable position as well. I've seen prices all over the board for this chair. I bought during a surprise flash sale = around $170. I'm glad I waited as I was considering much more expensive chairs. Overall, while I just received this chair, it seems like an excellent chair at an excellent price, offers wonderfully ergonomic fit, and is an excellent value!

Good chair for a low price!
I bought this chair because it was time to replace my current one after the seat went flat on me. After a bit of searching online I came to settle on this one. I’m glad I bought this chair since from the moment I sat in it I could tell a major difference. The seat was nice and cushioned and would spring back. The lumbar support helped with my back and didn’t leave me in pain after sitting in it for hours like my old one. The headrest and chair is adjustable, can go down and up and back and forth. The chair took me maybe no more then an hour to setup and was super easy to setup with the included instructions and pieces. Support was also fast and helpful when I emailed them. If I need another office chair, I know we’re I’ll be getting it from again.

So Far So Good
I've had this chair less than 24 hours so keep that in mind. Amazon delivered the day after ordering it, so that was a plus. I'm a remodeling contractor and mechanically inclined so assembly was a breeze without even looking at the instructions, although they seem to be adequate. They were necessary to get familiar with the controls, such as the two knob adjustments and the tilt lock. My motivation for this purchase was chronic lower back pain for the last 3 months; it got so I couldn't stand up from my old office chair without feeling like my lower back was broken. First impression is it's well built and fairly well designed. If the gas charged seat post holds up I don't expect to have any issues with build quality. Adjustments appear appropriate for my 5' 9" 160 pound frame except in one regard. My office desk is custom built with a keyboard shelf about 3" lower than standard desk height for ergonomic typing. That may be why I find this chair's armrests too tall at their lowest setting. They also are sorely lacking in the cushion department. I'll probably get longer bolts to space the arm rest mounting down about 1.5" and add additional cushioning to the rests. Otherwise I like how they can be adjusted laterally and radially. Lumbar support, one of my main concerns, seems comfortable and adequately adjustable. The headrest isn't something I was terribly interested in so we'll see how that goes, it's easy enough to eliminate. So far I consider this to be a fair price on a well designed and well built desk chair. Mostly retired now, I spend from 2 up to 8 hours a day sitting at my computer reading, writing and keeping up with current events so I should know very quickly if this offers an improvement in my posture and reduces back pain. After 3 days: One thing I forgot to mention is the chair does have a smell to it that I hope will go away. While it went unnoticed during assembly, the next morning my office smelled like a combo of gas and plastic that still remains. After sitting in the chair yesterday for about 2 hours my butt was sore so I ordered the thinest seat cushion I could find since the lumbar support is already at its highest adjustment point. So between longer bolts for lowering the armrests with spacers (made of 3/4" oak), armrest and seat cushions I've spent over $50 on upgrades to this $250 chair.

Poor Quality - Poor Customer Service - broken after less than 13 months
I attempted to work directly with the manufacturer, Ticova, but, since the chair is over 12 months old (barely) they said it is "out of warranty".The chair was purchased in early September, 2022 and now, less than 13 months later, it's basically unusable. There is a problem with the lift cylinder. When you try to move the chair, there is a hard, grinding sound inside of the cylinder shaft which literally stops the chair from moving. No, it's not the wheels, it's the main cylinder connecting the chair base to the wheels.I provided Ticova with all the details, including a video showing the problem. Their initial response was to suggest a few basic checks, like cleaning the wheels, which did not help. Their answer to my follow up inquiry was for me to purchase (and install) a new gaslift cylinder! While it's true the chair is just outside of the stated 12 month warranty, it is my belief that a company should stand behind it's products, especially when provided proof of faulty craftmanship. The outcome provided by Ticova was a poor attempt at customer service and therefore I have no other choice but to leave this accurate review.
