Upon installation of over 100 sq. ft. of white quartz counters, it became quickly apparent that it's quite the chore to keep it clean. It's unforgiving in showing every single crumb or stain. Something as simple as moving an aluminum pan across it will leave a mark. Though such stains and marks aren't actually damage nor permanent on quartz, an effective and safe daily cleaner is needed to remove them.I found dish soap lacking - there's a lot of marks and stains it wouldn't remove. Enter this product. It's effective on water stains and many other stains and marks that can accrue in daily use. I can't comment on the claims of UV protection from yellowing and dulling, because I have no means to test that. However, I can confirm it's streak free, leaves a nice shine, and it has a pleasant scent. But it won't remove everything. Anything that the Weiman doesn't remove, elevate it to Barkeeper's Friend Soft Scrub (the liquid) - while that's safe for quartz, you don't want to use it as your daily cleaner. The Weiman is an effective daily cleaner. But I deduct one star because that's reserved for perfection, and this doesn't remove everything that Barkeeper's Friend can. I recommend including both in your quartz maintenance arsenal.
