absolutely worth the money
Starts very easily, runs with good power for tilling, blades work very well, the retainer clips are strong and don't pop off while using, the blades come off easily for taking out twisted on roots, and washing off dirt , then a spritz of wd-40 to keep rust off in storage between uses. The tiller is very thifty on fuel and can use for well over an hour on 1 fill. I was surprised at how quiet it is compare to my old tiller and much quiter than push mower. The only issue i found with tiller is the wheels are too close together and tips over constantly if you try rolling around like from garden to garage. so i end up carrying it back and forth and a little annoying

Nice little addition to the shed.
Professional turf guy here. I ordered this machine to use with the detaching attachment. I was really impressed by it. Lots of power, easy enough to use, and I was able to thatch 9,000 square feet of lawn 2 directions in a day (including cleanup). Definitely a workout, and not recommended for anyone without a little muscle or used to this kind of ground engaging equipment. I’ve used it to turn my mulch beds too. It works really for that. It’s not ideal for tilling virgin ground or anything covered it grass, but it will get the job done. My only complaint, after using this machine for a few days, I stored it in my shed for a few weeks. When I went to start it the next time, the engine cylinder had filled with oil and locked up. I had to remove the spark plug, drain the oil, refill the oil, and then I could start it. Since then I store the machine standing up to avoid this. Not sure if this is by design, or a sign of premature wear. Time will tell.

Quit running
This was great at first. Started really easy and ran good. Had it for 2 years now. I want to preface this by saying I have quite a lot of gas engine power equipment so I know how to take care of them. I always use fuel stabilizer and don't have any problems until now. We've used this tiller/cultivator maybe half a dozen times. Went to start it up and fuel isn't going through the lines and will on prime. The gasket on the fuel tank that the lines run through has cracked and is leaking. Contacted the seller and they said they don't cover any fuel related problems but to send them the model and serial numbers and he would check. I did that and heard nothing back from them. Just wanted to let everyone know they will not stand behind the "5 year warranty" they tout. I did a three star review after about a month of using it. I gave it three stars because even when it runs it's kind of too light weight to dig into the soil unless the soil is already kind of loose. So now y'all have a two year longevity update. The update is that it has no longevity. Waste of money!

Wonderful cultivator - great torque!
this is my second purchase (of the same item). First one lasted 13 years of use. Backyard is approximately 4,000 sq ft.

One Year with MC440
I have now owned my Earthquake MC440 tiller for one year and have only good things to say about it. I've owned a number of small cultivators that were all 2 stroke and without a doubt the torque of this machine is far superior. I have a very small area for plants but it's too large for an old guy to use a shovel and fork so I use this to prepare all my garden areas. It has worked very well and performed better than I expected. I read a number of reviews prior to my purchase and a common theme seemed to be the tiller was hard to start especially when it had been stored for a while. When not in use I always keep it laying down as suggested in the owner's manual and it has always started with 2-4 pulls on the rope. Last fall when I put it away for the winter I drained the fuel tank and ran the carburetor dry. This spring I pulled it out and refilled the tank and gas immediate began leaking at a pretty good rate. It seems the flange that the fuel lines run through had shrunk and the fuel lines became brittle so if the gas level was near the level of the flange gas would leak out. Even with this issue the engine started with 3 pulls. I called customer service and explained the situation and they sent me a new fuel line assembly at no charge. I put it back together tonight, filled the tank and started it up with 3 pulls. I'm very impressed with how well everything has worked, so I feel a five star rating is justified.

Mini Cultivator
Pros; Easy to assembly and starts easy. 4 cycle engine so no mixing oil with gas. Fairly light, making it easy to handle and maneuver. Cons; Cannot check oil in upright position, you must lean it forward on the gas tank. Not enough power to keep tines turning in heavy grass. Tines also clog up easy with grass aiding in the problem with the tines not turning. In a garden and between rows where only light weeds is what you are going to use this for may work fine. For my use around trees and shrubbery it is not doing the job for me. I will be returning it for a refund. ***Update*** I used the online form to contact the company. They emailed me back and offered to repair it under warranty. Being concerned that if after repair it was not better that my window to return it to Amazon would be closed. I called Amazon CS and was offered a replacement and to pick up the original. I will see if the replacement works better and then update my review again. This mini cultivator has the potential to be a very useful garden tool. But if all it will do is turn loose dirt and quits turning the tines when it hits grass it is of no use to me.

This little cultivator is amazing. I have used mine, hard, for many years. This one was for my son.
I have been using one of these little cultivators for years. I bought this one for my son in TN. It is my favorite tool, and after he used it for the 1st time, it is pretty high on his list too. I have used mine in the garden, leveling ground, in the flower beds, and much more. I am Always Amazed at how much these little cultivators can do. Mine has been a workhorse, and I expect his will prove to be the same.

Cultivadora bien pero
Bueno pero sufro porque se le arranca piedras qué se encuentra en la cama de la hortaliza y se trava, no se si tengan otro que tenga más espacio con la tolva para que no se atoren las piedras

Great little cultivator
What a great little machine ,works great good for small to medium gardens ,I used it this weekend to dig and till a 10x10 foot area with out a problem. I like that it is a 4 cycle engine too (so no mixing of oil and gas)

A great little tiller.
A great little tiller, perfect for smaller gardens and other smaller jobs. It's very lightweight (easy on my back) but has enough power to do a great job even on compacted soil. Assembly is very easy and it was together and ready to go in minutes (don't forget to add the oil). It started without any issues and runs very smooth. Adjusting the wheels and depth bar are very quick and easy. It's appears to be put together well and all none of the components seem cheap or easily breakable. I will reserve my 5th star for durability but so far I extremely happy with this machine.
