My son used these from an early age at his Waldorf school, so I bought these as a 1st Birthday present for my niece. She's 15mos old now and just starting to use them. Perfect for little hands as they're easy to hold.

I bought these bright crayons for my one year old. He is not quite ready to draw yet but they are the very best option for early artists. I love that they are easy to hold and that they basically make a mark any way that you put them on the paper. Great intense color too! Wonderful packaging (my little one loves holding the tin they come in). I would recommend these high quality crayons to everyone and will be buying some for gifts.

I was looking for a non-toxic product for a toddler that loves to put everything in their mouth. These German made (i.e. high quality) crayons are block shaped without any paper and perfect for little hands and made of beeswax. The tin and blocks are a game all in one. It comes with a sharper that an adult will need to utilize and store separately. Most important, the toddler is coloring with them and then puts the blocks back into the tin- love the design!

I bought these for two of the grandkids as their first crayons. They are small but not for a toddler fist. The colors are pastel but again, toddlers aren't usually too picky. I wanted them after I saw my granddaughter bite into a regular crayon as little ones will do. These are not recommended food items, but if ingested will not hurt a child. The two moms were very happy with these crayons!

Stockmar beeswax block crayons are WONDERFUL for toddlers, who are still learning fine motor skills. They are bright colors, easy to hold, and so fun to use. The tin in which they come is a wonderful way to store them (and makes them portable in a diaper bag, as well, for those interminable minutes of waiting for food to come at a restaurant... ). We love these, use them like crazy, and gift them to toddlers on holidays and birthdays all over the place. :) Highly recommended.

These crayons are the same ones my now grown daughter used in Waldorf school some years ago. Now my little grandson is using them. They are the best
