Pros: Small, portable, solar charged, easily hung.Cons: Not bright. It provides light, of course, but not what you're probably expecting. It's not enough to focus on something at night. Also, the charge is pretty weak. It goes out too quickly, imo.Overall:Probably good for portable camping use (not what I'm using it for), but I'm already looking into a battery powered (not solar battery) lantern that is much brighter and can last until the batteries are dead.

i had bought a yellow labrador statue for the garden last year, that was holding a small lantern in its mouth. It was solar, and was so cute. The lantern fell apart when I brought it inside at the end of the summer. I was disappointed. I decided to try to find a replacement. All the ones that looked like the old one (which was really a lantern shape) were much too large. But this ones dimensions were about right. so now the dog is holding this. The light is very bright and makes a nice accent at night. Its in a small 4 foot in diameter round bed, where a bird bath resides.seems to be working quite well and standing up to the weather. I shall update if that changes.

Sometimes, calling something Simple is a bad thing - but not in this case - This Lantern is simple.There isn't a ton of buttons or switches - It's just plain easy to use.It is a really nice light for car camping and water proof as far as I can tell the clear part of the lantern has filled full with rain water after a storm and was still functioning as normal.I really appreciated the fact that the base of the lantern is translucent - This allowed me to hang the lantern in my tent while getting ready for bed - The light was perfect - not to bright, but still bright enough to see what I needed to do -

It works OK for a night light but I can't see using it for anything else but a night light yeah it's not very bright at all compared to the other product that I bought from you guys um yeah it's just good for a night light might be good for camping when you just want that little light in the tent until you fall asleep and then it runs out of light so but that's about it

Once we received it and tried it out I decided that I will keep it in my vehicle. That way we can use it for camping or if we ever had car trouble and yet it will still be handy to use during the power outages too. This is definitely going in our items to use during a huricaine if the power goes out. I thought it would be a great thing to have while camping, but it's actually a great item to have at any time.

Cannot get the stupid thing to work

Nice little light and gives off a nice bright light. I wish it had an adaptor to charge it plugged in on cloudy days though. I use this on my patio not camping.

Shocked at how cheap this was. I own a couple solar lights to compare with. The rubber encased on/off switch broke the first time I used it. So I set the lantern to on position permanently, it flickered on and off for 2 nights and quickly crapped out. Waste of money, lasted less than a week. Spend a few extra bucks and get something not so flimsy.
