Great nutrition during diverticulitis, stomach bug, or as a simple daily tea
We're repeat customers of this Slipper Elm Bark brand. Works well, tastes good. We use this primarily if someone in the family has a stomach bug and cannot keep food down, and for taking during diverticulitis. I do recommend stirring between each sip, otherwise the nutritious powder settles to the bottom of the glass, since it's not water soluble. We love this Slipper Elm Bark so much, we even buy it as gifts for friends.

Works for GERD, Ulcers, Gastritis, intestinal pain
This was my first time purchasing slippery elm. I was experiencing some intestinal pain and really bad gastritis / stomach ulcers & GERD after a very stressful time in my life as well as months of eating gluten when I had been gluten free for a loooooooooooong time. After doing some research on Slippery elm for my dog (she has colitis) I decided to give it a try for me. I decided to make more of a lower dose to start, which ended up being more than enough for me. I boiled water, poured it in my mug. Then put in 1 loose teaspoon of the tea powder. The tea is very very fine powder. And you don't need a tea bag. It's ok to consume the powder right in your mug. It clumped together into a very thick ball of yuck. So my hubby poured it into our tiny little ninja type mixer for a minute or so and it blended it perfectly. Poured it back into my mug and I was able to sip it slowly and enjoy. The longer it sat the thicker it got but not to thick. Just right to feel soothing down my throat and all the way down through my intestines... I can feel it soothing and quieting the burning. It also helped to soothe the intestinal pain I was feeling. The thickness felt like a very loose egg white as far as the gel that the tea makes. I'm sure if you put more in, it would get even thicker. But for me, 1 tsp to 1 cup of boiled water was plenty. Taste: like a very mild wet cardboard. It wasn't bad. A little honey and it was just fine. I actually enjoyed it and it really does work. *** It does bloat me up... but the gas finds it way out soon enough. LOL! Hubby was quite impressed with me. Haha!

Good quality
It is a good quality product. It is helping with my throat ulcers. I mix a teaspoon with a little bit of cold water and make gel as much as possible. Then I mix it with hot water and sip it through out the hour or less.

Soothing
It's okay. I don't mind the taste. It feels a bit grainy and doesn't always mix very well, I use with tea and keep stirring it and I think it's been helpful for mucosal irritation

I drink this tea one hour after a meal and it calms my stomach. I do have gastritis and found it very soothing.

Not consistent
I liked this brand because the powder was much finer so the tea was smoother. Most recent purchase, the powder was coarser. Not sure why they changed that but I paid a bit more for the finer powder. I guess I’ll go back to the cheaper bag I found on Amazon (micro ingredients brand) since I’m getting the same quality and coarseness but more product for the price.

Good for stomach issues
Great at soothing the stomach. Not the best taste but it does a great job.
