I bought this for my 2.5 year old daughter and it arrived today. I can already tell it’s a 10 out of 10 toy. One thing she loves is painting nails. The problem is, after all our nails are painted she still wants to keep going. The fun ends too quickly. One day she came across an unused paint brush and she pretended to paint my nails over and over for a few days. That’s when I thought this toy might actually go over really well rather than frustrating her due to the lack of paint. Upon opening the delivery box she immediately gasped and wanted to play. She might have been confused or disappointed by the lack of paint for maybe 10 seconds. I started following the activity card and showing her how to use all the accessories. By that point she was hooked! We played nail shop for 45 minutes straight until I had to insist we go pick up her brother from school. She brought a few polish bottles with her for the ride! I like all of the accessories included so she has realistic play. The polish bottles and brushes are slightly oversized and the other accessories are a thick plastic, so everything should be durable in little hands. I love that the clear plastic shelf is functional and that all the accessories (besides the bowl and dryer) store on it, including grooves to hold the color guide and the activity card. I see her looking at the pictures on the activity card and trying to follow along, so I’m glad it has a dedicated spot so we won’t lose it. Neither me nor my daughter are particularly girly, but this is an incredibly adorable play set! The price is decent and with a name like Melissa and Doug backing it, I wouldn’t hesitate to gift it or recommend it to others.

This was a gift for my daughter. She loves it and it’s a perfect size! No choking hazards and she’s learning how to use these different products. She loves to watch me do my make up so it’s fun for her to be able to “do” hers too!! There’s no sound and this is a super durable product! Considering my 2 year old has had it for a while!! Cute and fun for kids!

I went to open it to show you all pictures but there are 20+ pieces and it's for Christmas for my daughter who is 4.5 and I was afraid I wouldn't get everything back in the box 😂. But it is super cute. Perfect for the age range. For anyone little who like makeup and nails but is not ready to apply themselves. Great value. Perfect size for little hands.

My 2 yr old daughter loves playing with this set. Great gift item for little girls who are curious about makeup. I also got the Elsa Frozen vanity and the blue colors go with it.

I bought this for my almost 2yr old son to get him ready to go for his first haircut. I was selective with which pieces I gave him because he is still a bit young. Some of the cards are double sided. I haven’t given him those yet but wished they weren’t so I could tape them up on the wall etc (thinking of the sample hair style sheet here). I would have liked a squirt bottle to be included but I bought one at the dollar store. The products included are all great quality!
