I bought this brush set to help me to try and add a little more 'body' and 'lift' to my hair, as it tends to lose body after styling, because it's very fine. I've always had problems in the past with this type of brush tangling and generally getting stuck in my hair, which is truly frustrating on every level! I've been really pleased however, that I've had a much more satisfying and positive outcome after using these brushes. I took a long time considering which brush set to buy, my daughter had bought me a de-tangling brush as a gift, it cost £18.00, I was shocked that she'd paid so much for a brush, however, I do have to say that it is amazing at de-tangling my hair, and so I wondered if the fact that I'd bought only brushes at £1.99 or even just 99p were causing me most of my problems! I took a chance with this particular brush set after reading the reviews, I bought them, tried them, and what a difference! To curl my hair, I wrap my hair around the brush whilst damp, dry with my hairdryer, and leave the brush in position until my hair has cooled, this 'sets' the curl. This was a tip I learned at college doing an Aromatherapy course, the hairdressing tutors used to use me for demonstrating how to curl hair. Once cooled, remove the brush, and you should have a lovely curl! I'm pleased to say that I'm now able to style my hair how I like it, the brushes are great quality, lightweight, more importantly don't get tangled in my hair, and, after a spray of hairspray off out I go!

They are packaged beautiful, colour is lovely, I just find them hard to grip they're quite slippy to hold and get a good pull on the hair

I’ve been using these for over 6 months now. There’s a good selection of sizes and I love that the handles are moulded in one piece, no more hair getting caught in joins. The bristles have stayed in the same place and I have to say that I’ve been styling my hair a lot better since I bought them. I have a very powerful salon hairdryer and the heat hasn’t melted the bristles. They are well worth the money and I highly recommend them
