Excellent product. Superb price.
So far I have used only a black cartridge. It works fine and the reproduction quality is great. The price for the 10PK was less than the cost of two standard sized cartridges available locally. Will certainly use this source in the future. My original comment still applies. Since first ordering, we have used most of the cartridges and are completely satisfied. PLUS, we have ordered from this source again. We will continue to order cartridge supplies from this company. Thank to all the fine folks who work at the company!

No instructions but worked good in my printer
At first I was really sceptical as this had a lot of bad reviews on the printer not excepting the ink cartridge. The ones I bought installed easy and worked great with my printer. The only problem I have is there were no instructions. You have to pull a tab on the side and than there is another plastic cover that is punctured when installed. I pulled the tab on one and had ink leak out and tried pulling the cover that needs to be punctured with no success. I finally figured it out that it needed to be punctured when installed and I left the tab on the second one I installed in which I had to pull the cartridge back out and pull the tab. So far they work great. Will order from them agian.

Able to get my printer/computer to recognize the replacement cartridge.
First, I just started using the black cartridge. It's too soon to tell how long it will last as some reviews are stating that they dry up or don't last long. My Brother MCF-J880DW takes the black cartridge but refused to recognize it. I was able to print test pages from the printer itself and the printer display panel did show that the black ink was 100%, but when sending a document from my computer to printer, I kept getting the message that the printer was out of ink/toner and it wouldn't print. I first tried a recommended trick of replacing the old ink cartridge again and then replacing the new one to try to get the printer to register the change in the chip. Did NOT work! I then did the other recommended trick of removing all 4 cartridges, turning off the printer and then unplugging it for several minutes. After plugging it back in, turning it on, and replacing the cartridges I was able to print documents sent from my computer and the display is showing that the ink is full. After the second page my computer did flash the "your printer needs attention - low ink/toner" message but I'm not sure if that's my printer or the cartridge at this time. I started receiving that same message when the original cartridge was displaying at 50% level so as long as I can continue to print, I'm not faulting the cartridge for the message, yet. I'd like to note that my printer is less than a month old and does not receive heavy use so having to replace the black cartridge so soon is a bit alarming, which is a major reason I wanted to find a cheaper cartridge. I know I did not get more than 200 pages from the original cartridge (documents and spreadsheets, no pictures were printed and my 3 colors are all at 90% or more, yet black was out....). The reason for the 4 stars at this time is because the ink cartridge does tend to get messy. I wouldn't call it a leak but while trying to replace it multiple times (trying to see if it just wasn't seated properly), I did end up getting black ink on my hands. I have never had a cartridge do so before so a minor downgrade for now because of it.

Great Ink and Great Value!
Delivery was on time and the product arrived in good shape. I purchased this ink for a Brother MFC-J485DW and have used the black cartridge so far and the printer accepted it the first time installed. Other reviews mentioned their Brother machines not recognizing the cartridges, but I did not experience that with my printer. Before removing the old cartridge I printed a test page and then installed the new T Surplus cartridge and printed again. I can't tell the difference between the two, they both looked good! Great value in comparison to the original Brother branded ink. I have yet to try the color cartridges but don't expect anything noticeably different other than more money in my pocket. As of now I would definitely recommend T Surplus for your ink needs for this printer. They sent a nice follow up email as well to make sure I was happy with my purchase. If I could give them 6 stars I would have just for following up! Thanks and keep up the good work T Surplus!

THEY DON'T WORK!!
These cartridges DO NOT WORK in my Brother MFC-J4420DW printer. I bought this printer and saw that the cartridges that came with it were not made to last long, so I bought these CHEAP cartridges in anticipation of needing to use them pretty quickly. The printer will not recognize them. After installing them, powering down and reinstalling them multiple times I final gave it. The aggravation just wasn't worth the few bucks I might have saved. Now I've totally wasted my money.

They are as good as, if not better than
These cartridges fit my Brother MFC-J880DW perfectly. They produce vivid rich printed colors. Black text from these cartridges is clear, sharp and solid.. They are as good as, if not better than, OEM ink cartridges, at a fraction of the OEM cartridge price. These cartridges print an enormous number of pages (although I haven't kept an exact count). They work perfectly for printing incoming fax transmissions and when used to make black and white or color copies. The only negative is that the warranty is for a short 90 days. But I've never had the need to make a warranty claim. I have made multiple purchases of these cartridges and I've never had a problem.
