A single drop will do you
Be cautious in using this powerfully spicy additive. Liking heat in your food is common but this is another level. This should last quite a while. Use of the dropper and a titration approach is recommended.

Spicy, flavor neutral and consistent
Easy to dose with the dropper and I have not had any issues with the seal or leaking. While I'm not sure this stuff is the advertised 2 million scoville as I can add 10 drops to my bowl of curry, it still produces a satisfying burn that lingers as long as you don't swallow food too quickly. Just for how easy it is to dose and the fact that it barely impacts flavor, I always keep this stuff around now.

WARNING!
This product is NOT for the weak or faint of heart! This is an extremely potent drop and should be used sparingly. The heat level is comparable to setting your self on fire. There was no tasting the food but rather consuming substance. Im sure if this is too hot for you they will take it back but for those seeking to push the limits of sanity THIS is the first step. Now will you take the red pill and leave this alone or will you take the blue pill and see how strong your tongue truly is.

I Thought This Would Be Hotter
I purchased this to add to a wonderful Japanese BBQ sauce. The BBQ sauce was almost perfect. Some heat would make it so. I usually add Dave's Insanity to a sauce when I encounter this issue, but I didn't want any other flavors. Just heat. The extract is very thick. Just getting the cellophane wrapper off the eye dropper, I got a little on my hand. I licked it off. There's heat at the back of the tongue, but not enough to make my eyes bleed. Not even close.I ended up adding almost half of the bottle to about ten ounces of the BBQ sauce. Almost there. Also, the extract is so thick the dropper wouldn't pick any up, so I added a few drops of water to thin it out. Will I buy this again? Donno. Might just stick to Dave's Insanity. At least I know what I'm getting with Dave's.

A novel alternate use - great for repelling unwanted mammals from a bird bath or fountain
I have a lot of fountains in my backyard for birds, and all sorts of mammals (raccoons are the worst, but also skunks and even the occasional coyote, etc.) are attracted. I woudn't mind their visits but some (especially raccoons who like to wash things in the water) dirty the water and are therefore disinvited. Well, last year I put a few drops of this product around (not in!) the fountain and found that the strong odor stops all these visitors in their tracks immediately. Apparently, mammals can't cope with the taste/flavor/odor -- but birds lack the genes to detect it, and they continue to use the fountains.Do NOT put this product, even a mere few drops, directly in the water -- it not only clouds the water but also leaves an oily residue on the fountain's walls that is hard to remove (my initial mistake). A few drops near the fountain is enough.

Works Very Well for Neuropathy Cream
Not sure I would be a very happy camper if indeed this IS hot pepper spray from a gas station as one person posted. My experience is a bit different. I opened the package, and carefully took the bottle out, and later on my eye started to burn, anyway, good thing I had eyewash, and I guess I would forewarn you to wash off the bottle really well in something like Dawn. I thought my husband threw it away, but he just washed the bottle for me, and that ended my nightmare. I actually use it in coconut oil for peripheral neuropathy, and I use 8 drops in 1 ounce of organic virgin coconut oil, and it works well. I would be VERY upset if this was not the real thing, but because its oil based, it is so much easier to use. I did work my way up the heat ladder, so I would first get your skin used to smaller amounts, and see how you fare. There is no medication for neuropathy that really works except capsaicin or heat similar. It seems to be working for me, no blisters that I can see, and thats the biggest problem with neuropathy, we cant feel if something is hurting us, and on the flip side, our nerves are sending jolts of pain, because our brain synapses arent getting the correct message. I could give myself third degree burns and wouldn't feel it, oh wait, if its third degree it destroys the nerves, so second degree burns, and thats sad. I was very angry at this company at first, because had I lost my eyesight, oh boy would someone be in trouble, so I hope this is a wake up call, because I see other complaints that there IS a problem with packaging, so straighten that out, and dont scare people off from making creams for their skin. Its working for me, but I built up the heat over time, so try one drop in three ounces, and go from there. I put it on both feet every night, and then put socks on.

Not as hot as the other one they had
It's warm not hot like you think 2.000.000 scollvill units it would put you down it takes your taste away so that's cool if your partner can't cook put a little bit on it and eat away

Maybe I should've used more than two drops.
I bought this because 1: I love spicy stuff and 2: My family and friends like to watch YouTube videos of me trying spicy stuff. (I don't know why, they say it's cute/impressive.) I put two drops of this into a tablespoon of salsa that I had previously reviewed on YouTube that's not at all spicy. I mixed it well and - not much happened. Yes, my mouth burned some, my eyes watered a little, but my nose only wanted to run, it didn't actually run. Perhaps I should've used more than the recommended amount. Or mixed it with something else. All I know is while I experienced a pleasant burn, it just didn't feel like 2 million scoville. So I took it out this morning to take a photo of it and a bunch of other hot sauces I recently taste tested on YouTube. The bottle had leaked. Luckily I had put it in a ziplock. Some got on my fingers but didn't burn, just stained them a bit. I washed my hands a few times, went to scratch an itch on my face, and it burns a LITTLE. Not majorly. Just a mild irritation So I'm thinking this isn't as hot as advertised.Edit: So I've tried up to 8 drops of this - I used it in a marinade for chicken. Still no real heat. Just a stomach ache. But no real burning in my mouth. Ended up throwing it away because besides not being spicy, the bottle leaked like crazy.
