Non-removeable batteries? YES, PLEASE!
I don't know what changed in my life for me to require near weekly use of a flashlight but here we are. I've had various other brands of this core design of "head mountable flashlights" and my last few ones were various AA/AAA disposable alkaline battery versions. If I ruled the world, there would never be disposable batteries and in my Heaven, EVERY battery would be rechargeable. Why as a society at it's seeming peak we are at has not had this paradigm shift yet, IDK but look around you. </broadly gestures at dystopian society>. Too many times I needed a light, either my headlight got "robbed" of its AAA batteries by other household members or they were out of charge and I didn't have replacements ready to go when I needed them. The rechargeable design in itself is absolute genius because I cannot lose batteries anymore. Every LED flashlight I've ever owned the last decade always ends up flickering out to the point you gotta smack that thing because of a wonky connection with replaceable batteries. I've found myself philosophizing in meditations with my head lamp on to just "install rechargeable batteries." Well I did that and the batteries still got robbed and THEN thrown away. Not any more. The battery robbing stops here, kids! Product seems to be decent quality use and design, not too heavy/bulky. The light is satisfactorily bright on its brightest settings. There's a charge level indicator, which is super helpful. It has a USB-C charge connector for broad acceptance of any USB C charger that seemingly everything uses now until the next USB standard gets released. The functionality, brightness settings and value for the money will save me this entire year on AAA batteries alone. Super useful and inexpensive. What would set this product eons beyond other head mounted flashlights would be to build a "clip" into the light so it can have the headband removed to be mounted onto a baseball cap's bill.

Great Budget Headlamps with Motion Sensor
These headlamps are really good for the price and work great for camping, fishing, and general use around the house. The motion sensor feature is my favorite part because it makes turning the light on and off quick and easy, especially when your hands are dirty. They have plenty of brightness, a lot of useful modes including red light, and the headband is easy to adjust and fits well. Battery life has been solid too. I gave one to my 4-year-old and he uses it constantly, and it holds up fine and recharges easily when it finally dies. They are not an ultralight premium headlamp, but for the cost and what you get, this is definitely a great purchase.

Really handy!
Great! Love to wear while walking my dog at night. These are nice and bright, charges up easily and tho I've been using over a year, still going strong. My favorite in this price range. So good that I bought another set. So glad I don't have to go through a bunch of batteries. For safety, you also have a solid red or flashing red option. I will say I don't like the wave on and off function, it seems like I always turn it off at the wrong time. FYI, I don't the headlamps with the over head strap, they always seem to slide off Super value.

Bright
Great lights, very bright and well controlled beams. I find they do not last as long as expected on each charge only lasting about 1 hour per charge.

Fantastic Headlamps at a Reasonable Price
We love rechargeable headlamps. This must be the third of fourth purchase we've done. The usual brand we buy is not available anymore so we tried this brand and it is great -- rechargeable, many functions, bright lights and is comfortable on the forehead. On top of all that -- very reasonably priced. We highly recommend.

Revolutionary and a great value
This headlamp is a fantastic value. I have purchased handheld flashlights that have cost up to $200 from other brands such as Fenix, Streamlight, ThruNite, Klarus, Jetbeam, Convoy, etc. Over the years, it has been something if a hobby for me, and I have spent way too much on flashlights. That said, I had never purchased a headlamp. It just never seemed like the best bang for my buck, like I could get more performance for my dollar in a handheld flashlight of comparable price. However, as I am currently potty training a new puppy and find myself picking me up and chasing after him at all hours of the night, I thought it might be nice to try a hands-free option. Of course, my initial instinct was to do a ton of research, find out which one is the best, and get that one. I looked at the top brands, primarily Petzl and Black Diamond. I was looking at waterproofness, battery options (aaa and rechargeable), brightness, runtime, build quality, comfort, and features. I the end, I determined that the right headlamp for me would cost around $60 at a minimum. I had added two of these to my cart and was preparing to check out when I decided to search "rechargeable headlamp" just to see what budget options were available. What I found was that there were several options to buy a pair of rechargeable headlamps for $20 total, or $10 apiece. Not only that, but they had decent reviews. Rechargeable is a must in an everyday (non-emergency) flashlight. As most headlamps take aaa batteries, and I only use energizer ultimate lithium batteries in my flashlights, each recharge saves me about $4. If I end up recharging this headlamp twice a week for one year, it will have saved me $400 in batteries. If it lasts 2 years (which I absolutely believe it will), it will have saved me $800. (Alkaline batteries can explode in flashlights and ruin them. Last year, lost like $200 worth of flashlights when the Duracell batteries that I had always trusted exploded in them. Lithium batteries do not explode and have a shelf life of 20 years.) Long story short, I got the cheap one to use as a beater, just to walk the dog. However, it had ended up being my most-used flashlight in the house. I often find myself walking around with it on my head in the middle of the day because it is so useful. Headlamps are great. Because if the light being positioned so close to your eyes, shadows aren't really an issue. This lamp has high/low spot, high/low flood, red flood, and red flash options. I find myself using high spot exclusively when outside for walking the dog, and high flood exclusively when inside for working in the garage/car/closet or any other place where lighting is anything less than optimal. The spot is bright enough to light up the entire side of my house from ~50 feet away, and the floor is perfect for making it look like the lights are on high in whatever corner of the house you are working in. The flood option is also great for reading! My wife has recently been using a clip-on book light when reading inside even during the day due to eye fatigue. (We are not old people. She is 25 and I am 29.) But the flood that comes off of this flashlight is so much brighter and more natural that I think it is going to replace the reading light altogether. The spot modes have a good mix of spot spill. The flood mode is soft around the edges and very natural looking with no artifacts. The red flood mode has a ton of artifacts and is very messy looking. If you plan to use the red flood for night vision, this may not be the headlamp for you. However, I do not plan to ever use that mode, so I will not hold it against the headlamp. Finally, the flashing red mode is also pretty useless for my purposes, but would be fantastic if you were riding a bike or walking down a street at night. The strap is very comfortable and had not caused any headaches. The part of the lamp that touches your forehead has a piece of very soft foam that makes it easy to wear the lamp for long periods of time without any pain. I do not use the proximity sensor / hands-free mode because when I wave my hand in front of the light to turn it on, the light hits my hand right in front of my eyes for a moment and it is extremely bright and uncomfortable. Hoerver, for anyone considering purchasing this headlamp, I will briefly run through the operation. The light has two buttons on top. The button in the right cycles through spot high, spot low, flood high, flood lie, red flood, red flash, off. The left button (with the picture of a hand) cycles through spot high, flood high, off. However, when in either of those two modes that are activated by pressing the button with the picture of a hand, the light can be turned on and off by waving your hand in front of the headlamp. I think this is so that if you were wearing gloves or something that caused you to be unable to push the buttons, you could still toggle the light on and off. Overall a great headlamp for my purposes and an amazing deal for the price. Unless you are an absolute flashlight snob or have very particular and specialized needs, this headlamp should work for pretty much anybody who needs a hands-free light. (And if you have not tried a headlamp, I highly recommend that you do. Having both hands free to work and having perfect illumination on whatever you are working on has been revolutionary for me. I should have gotten one years ago.)

Bought these lights to replace my older headlights. They are much brighter and have more functionality to them. I like the sensor light on light off function which I didn’t even know existed when I bought them. I would buy them again.
