This is the best hand softener I have used.

Amazing Hand Cleaner
I use the Mary Kay hand scrub in place of GoJo or any other dedicated mechanic's hand scrubber. This stuff works great on grease and oil as well as just plain dirty hands. I am amazed that it also does a great job on sticky, tough polyurethane varnish when I get it on my hands when finishing a woodworking project. When the going really gets tough, I add a little sugar to the soap after I pump it on my hands. This adds a scrubbing agent and so far I haven't found anything that can resist that combination. This stuff really does make my hands soft and keeps them from getting tight and dry like GoJo does.

Cracked painful hands.
This Mary Kay product does more to prevent and help heal the cracked hand I get every winter than any other product I have tried.
